The analytical program "However," with Mikhail Leontyev 16 October 2013
Went countdown hours to a terrible American default. All this reminds of dramatic Hollywood pauses preceding the miraculous salvation of a positive hero. There is reason to believe that in this case, the hero has a big chance to miraculously escape.
Democrats and Republicans in the US Congress have a few hours left to negotiate an increase in the so-called public debt ceiling. Otherwise, the United States will not be able to service its debt obligations, which means technical default, which is fraught, according to analysts, with disastrous consequences for financial markets and the world economy as a whole.
From the cartoon "Winnie the Pooh":
"- Everything is clear. He is stuck.
- And all this because someone has too narrow doors.
“No, it's all because he eats too much."
To grow thin, actually, for today nobody is going. At present, the question is only about the expansion of the doors. However, it is clear that the “problem” is an unbearable burden of debts that America will sooner or later be buried. And, above all, it is the burden of American global domination. And the problem of Obama is that he certainly understands this, but he can do nothing, at least in the legal political field.
"The political problems of the United States of America, and the budget crisis is, of course, a political phenomenon, not an economic one, due to the fact that the structure of the political elite today is much more complicated than just the division into two parties: Republicans and Democrats," says economist Mikhail Khazin.
Obama’s attempts to change the vector of American politics are opposed by the so-called "idealists": neo-conservative Republicans, such as the famous Senator McCain, and the Clinton democrats. Both are supporters of total American imperial domination. At the same time, objectively the allies of Obama Democratic pragmatists are Republican isolationists, in the spirit of Congressman Ron Paul and Texas Governor Ron Perry.
That is, Obama's main task is to “bring America home.” Therefore, he is the only one who can afford a default. Yes, the Republicans to push the blame. Because the so-called "idealists" generally do not need to reduce costs. Because any significant reduction means giving up US global dominance. This is a stalemate - a “stupid dead end” from the point of view of any meaningful anti-crisis policy. It is this stupidity that most vividly reflects the last Nobel Prize in economics.
The Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to American economists Fame, Hansen and Schiller for mathematical methods developed at different times for studying and predicting stock speculation. Given that the methods and conclusions of the new Nobel laureates not only contradict each other, they themselves hardly endure each other. The triumph of economic thought is especially vividly reflected against the background of the financial crisis caused by the practical application of the achievements of the latter-day winners.
From the movie "I walk in Moscow:
"- You paint the torso, you tail and legs, and I ears and head.
- Are the teams ready?
- Started! "
Stormy applause, turning into a standing ovation.
