"Defense": news with a plus sign
The country's leadership sets ambitious goals - by 2020 to bring the share of new weapons and equipment in the army to 70 percent, and in the overwhelming majority they should be produced in domestic defense factories
Will the same ammunition industry cope with this task? This is our conversation with Radik Khasanov, the head of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Russian Engineering Union, the general director of OJSC Production Association Sergo Plant (POZIS).
- In 2012, the implementation of the federal target program (FTP) “Development of the Defense Industry of the Russian Federation before 2020 of the Year” began, for which large-scale funding is provided, says Radik Shavkyatovich. - Our plant received a state order for 2013-2015 years. This is unprecedented in the last 20 years. Now we can predict and plan our work for three years in advance. And there is already a result: if last year, the share of special products in our total output was only 11 percent, then in the first half of 2013 of the year - more than 30 percent. Serious investments will be made in the Kazan Precision Engineering Plant, the Research Institute of Chemical Products and the Kazan State Powder Powder Plant. But the largest amount of funding is determined by the plant named Sergo.

All the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan have installed modern stationary arched metal detectors, which are created using modern digital technologies and reliable components, the press service of the department reports. Intellectual devices of a new generation were manufactured in Kazan and used to ensure safety at sports facilities during the XXVII World Summer Universiade in Kazan. It is especially emphasized that they are transferred to the penitentiary department free of charge.
“New metal detectors are distributed across all correctional colonies and pre-trial detention centers of the republic and installed at checkpoints at the entrance to establishments and between residential and industrial areas,” said Sergey Rodionov, head of the security department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. - The use of this super-sensitive equipment will undoubtedly increase the efficiency of work and will help to prevent prohibited items from entering correctional institutions, in particular cell phones and sim-cards. In Yelabuga, the festival of school teachers ended, which this year acquired the status of international. About three hundred teachers from various parts of Russia - from Astrakhan to Khabarovsk, plunged into childhood for several days.
“The festival is not a scientific conference or a refresher course,” explains Anatoly Razzhivin, deputy director for science at the Elabuga KFU Institute. - We conceived it as a holiday, the main character of which is an ordinary teacher.
And about. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov promised that the Ministry of Education and Science will take note of all the ideas and problems that were expressed at the festival. And the rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov announced that the best teachers and moderators of the forum will be invited to retraining courses as teachers, and some of them will also receive an invitation to work in the lyceums of Kazan University. In Tatarstan, an enthusiast revives forests
Rustem Shakirov from Kazan planted twenty hectares of forest in the spring on his own initiative. To the question “why?” He answers: “I can’t see hemp instead of the forest!”
As it turned out, he is not alone, for example, his comrade slowly plants cedars in the forest. Rustem Shakirov decided to act in a big way:
- Already seventeen years before my country garden is a wasteland. Once there was arable land here, but then the work on the ground was abandoned, and it slowly began to grow over with birch, maples and aspen trees. Among them were young pines - strong and fluffy, unlike those that are planted by forestry.
So that in the future one could admire twenty hectares of boron, Kazan enthusiast planted 15 kilograms of seeds. 40-50 units fell on each square meter. Pleasure is not cheap - a kilogram of pine seeds costs 5 thousand rubles. So on one enthusiasm you will not get far. Now Rustem is looking for like-minded people to continue planting in the fall.
