Spiritual hunger

43
A person is so arranged that he always looks around, always takes an example from someone: he is strong - and I let you down, he is dressed fashionably - and I will get fashionable clothes for myself, he goes to a foreign car - and the worse I am ...

And for many years we, the Slavs, looked at the Western peoples, the French, the Germans, and then the Americans from the United States. For many of us, their lives seemed to be the benchmark. The standard of security, wealth, freedom and democracy. We were fascinated by the constant, not for a moment coming from the faces of these people, wide white-toothed smiles. It seemed to us that they were already living in paradise, and we were striving with all our might to enter this paradise. Someone went there, someone in different ways (righteous and not very, if not unrighteous) tried to arrange this paradise in his state, but only for himself.

And as if blinkered, we, seeing one beauty of the front part of the West, did not see (or perhaps did not want to see) the rear part of that earthly “paradise”. The one where poverty, poverty, mental and moral degradation of a larger population reigned. Where criminality was growing at an unprecedented rate, more and more new types appeared (most often heavy ones). Where the murder (even the president) was not considered something out of the ordinary. Where morality is closely intertwined with immorality, so much so that it is impossible to immediately determine whether it is a moral act or immoral.

I remember how surveys conducted in 70-s of the last century among schoolchildren of the USA and the USSR showed that American teenagers had no idea in elementary questions, their knowledge stories, geography was so low that they did not compare with the knowledge of even our preschoolers. This was noted by the satirist Mikhail Zadornov, who was delighted after his first trip to the USA - a country that seemed to many Soviet people ideal. But after a while, his opinion changed so much that he identified the Americans with the caustic expression “Well, stupid!”, Which became our nationwide.

Years passed, and gradually everything around me changed. The Western states, including the USA, have changed, and in many respects for the better, although they still have plenty of problems, there have also been improvements, from which we could take an example.

There is no such large-scale, as we have, the theft of state property under the guise of "privatization". There, congressmen, members of the government and other officials are not completely corrupt, do not take bribes, do not have a personal driver, and drive their own cars, without any advantages over other road users. There, for the slightest violation of traffic rules, they will be punished in strict accordance with the law, and no titles or positions will help them avoid punishment.

And there are dozens or even hundreds of such examples. True, not everything is so perfect both in the USA and in other called developed countries of Europe. This is evidenced by the recurring discontent of the population, resulting in mass riots and pogroms. Well, God bless them, it’s not about them, but about you and me.

We foolishly and thoughtlessly began to introduce their methods into our lives, as a result of which our children (including school graduates and even universities) began to possess only elementary knowledge of history, literature, geography, without a calculator they would not add 2 + 2 ... Ukraine, especially in villages, began to massively close schools and preschool institutions; Higher education for the majority of Ukrainians (from low-income families) has become practically inaccessible, since the number of budget places is constantly decreasing, and thus, it has actually turned into a banal object of commerce, into a product that only a few can afford. But even those who managed to obtain the desired diploma, our state cannot guarantee employment. Yes, and the rest of the citizens is extremely difficult, if not impossible to realize their constitutional right to work. So yesterday's workers of industry, education, culture are forced to become a peddler, someone to engage in providing services to the population, and some illegal “services”, and what everyone wants to do is for everyone and for some reason every day. And also the family, the children - they should also be fed and drunk, and even dressed, but God forbid, they will get sick - you can go broke with some medicines, not to mention the amount of payment for “free” medical care.

And all this makes it impossible for parents to raise their children, teach them, and influence them. As a result, the level of education and the formation of morality among young people also falls.

And our life (I mean ordinary people) has changed in many ways, especially after the collapse of the USSR. Now only with sadness one can remember that once, not too long ago, our native Ukraine occupied the leading places in the top ten in every sense of the world’s states. The standard of living of the overwhelming majority of the population has fallen (but at the same time, in an unimaginable progression, the standard of living of several thousand people who proudly call themselves oligarchs, the elite of the nation) has grown.

All this in total and led our country to moral decay.

The media play a significant role in this. If you carefully analyze the TV programs, then make sure that practically all channels show modern films copied from the American - some murders, violence, mountains of corpses and a sea of blood. The main "heroes" are gangsters, hooligans and other thugs, as well as some people who live in posh mansions and who donate substantial money from where (almost no film shows where they work and by whom). It is impossible not to envy the standard of living of prostitutes, kept women and other ladies of easy and light behavior.

Among the movie characters there is no mention of steelworkers, weavers, grain growers, teachers and writers - all this is a thing of the past.

It is clear that adolescents with open mouths and round eyes look at how modern “heroes” live on the screen, and, naturally, follow their example. And why, look how easy it is to kill a person: he jabbed a knife or moved a bat on the head - and that’s it. So they kill 10 — 13-year-old boys of old women and old men for the sake of 10 — 50 hryvnia.

Stealing has become a daily matter for us - they steal everyone who feels like it, and they steal everything that they do. The people noticed this and brought a clear sign: if you were put in prison, you stole a little - a car, a fur coat, jewelry, which means you are a small person, because big people steal power plants, railroads, gas, oil, and at the same time oil rigs , and their place is not in a prison cell, but in the Verkhovna Rada or in local councils. This is shown to us in films, they write in newspapers and magazines. We know many such “figures”, they are talked about, they are advertised.

And we all TV channels annoyingly and stubbornly advertise how to whiten your teeth (they do not smear on many - there is nothing), to get rid of dandruff and how to wash a dress so that it looks like new (and always carry a laundry detergent to show everyone who does not believe). True, there are some benefits in advertising breaks: many have time at this time (and it’s not so short - for example, on the Inter channel, advertising lasts for 15 minutes) to meet the need not only small (as confirmed by the fact that the peak load on sewage falls precisely at the time of advertising), cook scrambled eggs, brew tea and a snack. But still, advertising annoys many, because the overwhelming majority of ordinary TV viewers cannot access all advertising goods, the cost of which cannot be compared with the meager pensions and salaries of ordinary people. And it is worthwhile to estimate what this advertising costs its customers, and whether it is necessary to think about the fact that if this huge money was spent on the production of the advertised products and goods, then their quality would have improved significantly, and the price would drop sharply. But, most likely, they are not interested in this, they need to be promoted and even hammer in to people that only this needs to be acquired. And in fact, quite often a person, making a choice in a store, secretly recalls an advertisement and ... buys exactly what they have inspired.

And then there is another TV distributor - countless culinary programs, starting with the actress and wife of Andrei Mikhalkov, Yulia Vysotskaya (about the kitchen, kitchen supplies and food packages that ordinary women can only dream about) and ending with the singing rector Mikhail Poplavsky, who in chic robes surrounded by all the beauties of his high school and with the help of invited chefs, he gives the people lessons in cooking this or that dish (I don’t know if at least he wondered if many people could buy, for example, sour cream at the market, to, rural "). Mass actors went on leading these programs, irritating not only the stomach with the release of a hungry juice, but also the nervous system because of the awareness of their poverty.

The people of hopelessness drink down. And this helps him advertising. Look, all sports programs are preceded by vodka advertising, a slightly veiled, but advertising. I’m not talking about beer any more: after looking at a beer ad, you realize that the one who does not drink beer is an inferior person. And the game of patriotism is “this is the beer of your Fatherland” (it means that if you drink it you are a patriot), “this is the first Ukrainian beer” (and no one would even think that in the 1725 year, the city of Lviv, or, as it was called Lemberg had the same attitude to Ukraine as, for example, Warsaw).

And also drugs that are freely sold under the guise of smoking mixtures and are available almost to preschoolers. I'm not talking about smoking tobacco, which attracts more and more women, especially young girls. And none of them think about the fact that she will be a mother and that the health of the child, and often his life, depends largely on her health, and tobacco by no means strengthens it. Yes, and they do not think that kissing such a girl, as the classic said, is the same as kissing an ashtray. And look at how many of these “ashtrays” are around you, and think about the future Ukraine holds.

And if you take into account the effects of alcohol and drugs that cause mental disorders? Already, according to the most modest estimates, about 700 thousands of Ukrainian citizens suffer from such mental disorders, with about a third of all patients between the ages from 15 to 35 years, that is, people of working and most reproductive age, and another third are people from rural areas. And no wonder - after all, for 20 over a period of “independence”, agriculture was actually destroyed, the collective and state farms were looted and destroyed, as a result of which approximately 4,5 a million people were left without work, so they drink of hopelessness

But that's not all. The policy of creating modern Sodom and Gomorrah is also going on (for those who do not know what it is, let me remind you - these were the two cities in the Middle East that brought the wrath of God upon themselves with their vices and atrocities, and he destroyed all of them with stone and rain of fire). Now, in many countries, like Sodom and Gomorrah, same-sex marriages are allowed, which until recently was highly condemned by society and especially by the church. Alas, times are passing, and morals are changing. And now “same-sex partnerships”, same-sex marriages are legalized in many countries (Great Britain, Denmark, Ireland, Greenland, Germany, France, Andorra, Finland, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, some provinces and municipalities in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela). The Prime Minister of Iceland, Johanna Sigurdardottir, entered into same-sex marriage in July 2010 and became the first politician of this level in the world to officially register such a marriage.

And the worst thing is that since the 2007 of the year, the Lutheran Church of Sweden has been blessing same-sex partnerships, and since 1 in November of 2009, the wedding of same-sex couples is allowed there. Sweden has become the first country in the world where same-sex marriages are allowed by the dominant church.

The only thing that pleases is that we haven’t reached this point yet and would like to hope that it will not. Although there was already an attempt to hold a gay parade in Kiev. We would follow the example of a joke about how Lukashenko reacted to the request for holding such a parade in Minsk, - he said he would not object, but only holding it should be on the day of the Airborne Forces.

From all the above, we can conclude that the root cause of the moral crisis, spiritual hunger in Ukraine is the spiritual decline of society, the development of which contributes to the low level of spiritual and moral education of children in the educational system of the country, the negative influence of the media on public consciousness and the disorder of the rule of law institution, who is responsible for the steady observance of the law by all members of society, in particular, by those in authority. And since this is a moral problem, only legal, punitive methods cannot solve it, here we need new and qualitative approaches to bringing up a new generation of Ukrainians with high standards of spirituality and morality, with a deep understanding of fatherhood and motherhood.

Yes, and the country's leadership, before talking about "joining the European culture," should deal with the revival of culture in Ukraine.

It would not hurt to take an example from the same America, only an example should be selective, with clear and verified moral criteria. For example, why shouldn't our healthcare care to learn from Americans to protect the health of their citizens? To make an order, as in American pharmacies, where in thoughts they will not allow such as selling fake aspirin and diluted valocordin, which even cats refuse to lick. In America, an ambulance always arrives on time! American old people with a combination of their pensions and benefits can travel around the world! American old women at airports around the world can be found on modern wheelchairs with automated controls and neat gray hairstyles - they have enough money for traveling and beauty salons.

It is from this and similar that we would take an example and try to make the same life for our people, namely people, and not “electorate” or “people”.

And if we overcome our spiritual hunger, then material hunger will be overcome with it. And our people will heal like normal people.

Minsk Lukashenko, - he said that he would not mind, but only it should be held on the day of the Airborne Forces.

We must learn from the experience of our Belarusian comrades. The deputies adopt a law “on gay parades on the day of the Airborne Forces.” You look at the day of the Airborne Forces and pensioners would even go out, not all of them bathe in the fountains. lol

The author has exactly the same problem as in Russia. The author lives in the center of culture, in the center of something else there and looks at the world through TV. And in the outback everything is completely wrong.
The outback did not and does not look to the West. This is the prerogative of the capitals of Moscow, Kiev and several MORE large cities.
The history of Russia (excuse the Ukrainians, but before 91 of the year you were also us) always shared the history of two states. One-peasant Russia, primordial, the other Russia noble, urban. The story was shared very noticeably. Remember the 1812 year when the peasants killed officers Russian army only because they did not know the Russian language.
And now, much of what is actively discussed in the capitals on the periphery is, to put it mildly, bewildering. The same gay parades. Well, what are our gay parades? Blue and pink have always been and remain outcasts. And they understand this, they hide their orientation. They are going to a rally with us now. Any man, and most women, do not hesitate to hurt, excuse me, in the face with pleasure.
And he put the article a plus simply because, in essence, the problem is highlighted correctly ...

"It is not the consciousness of people that determines their being, but, on the contrary, their social being determines their consciousness." K. Marx. The root cause of the moral crisis is not the spiritual decline of society, but the conditions of its existence, which do not cause any active reaction. And it makes no sense to hope for a "good tsar" who will come and change this "being" - the "tsar" and his "boyars" are doing well. Why would they change something? Out of love for people? Do not make me laugh. Only people themselves can achieve a change in the conditions of their existence with all further changes.

not "in", but "on", so it will be more correct. The article causes an ambivalent attitude, on the one hand, I completely agree with decline, crisis, hunger in the brain, and in Russia, not much better, but for some reason (deliberately) the author kept silent about the second component, forgive the triviality, but Ukrainians (Little Russians) They themselves renounced their Russianness in favor of Ukrainization, they themselves renounced a common (our) history, chose new heroes, even a different language, with the wonderful name "Mova". it reminds me of "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" everything was, but the empty trough remained. What for?

But you still didn’t answer my questions. I don’t understand what the language is about. I’m speaking Ukrainian. It made me worse, or now I can’t raise children properly. My attitude to our history is that it (history) is extremely contradictory here and you can look at many events in different ways and there will always be arguments both there and there. But what does this have to do with the topic of the author? How does this affect the fact that we thump, that it is customary for us to spoil in the woods on the river, etc., why our officials take bribes, and so with full pockets - what does all this have to do with nationality? Or maybe in Russia everything is fundamentally different - there is paradise on earth and everything is only improving every day.

The article has an author, he wrote this way, he likes it like that, give me the spelling rules, we will all make sure that you are right and voila (I'm not sure, but most likely it will be right anyway). And then you can discuss what is written there, I hope.

Not. The most pressing issue is ideology. As long as the "golden calf" (read "capitalism") is at the forefront, nothing good can be expected. But the author somehow got around it. Was he ashamed or believes in capitalism with a human face? This doesn't happen by definition. Capitalism is exploitation. Axiom. Everything and everyone. Including - the exploitation of the basest instincts. The more primitive they are, the easier it is to "reach out", the easier it is to make money on it. Until we eradicate this formation, terror will always be there. And no chance. Well, perhaps, "bend" your neighbor and enjoy life. So the topic has not been disclosed. And it doesn't matter, "in" or "on", in Russian or Ukrainian. Toothless article.

I am also surprised at the phonetic requirements of our former neighbors in the USSR, who impose their phonetic norms on the Russian language:
          - not Moldova, but Moldova;
          - not Kyrgyzstan, but Kyrgyzstan;
          - not Tallinn, but Tallinn. Further "progress" in this direction is Ttaalliinn. We can recall other examples of the imposition of alien and discordant linguistic norms on us. Prudent Chinese do not do this for ethical reasons, otherwise it would be a complete mat. And Europe does not demand this from us, although there is a place for "fighters" for phonetic purity to roam. One has only to remember the "delights" of English and, especially, French phonetics. Apparently, Europeans do not need to assert themselves in such ways.

For example, why don't our healthcare learn from Americans to protect the health of their citizens? To establish order, as in American pharmacies, where they won’t even allow them to sell fake aspirin and diluted valocordin, which even cats refuse to lick. In America, an ambulance always arrives on time! American old people with the combination of their pensions and benefits can travel around the world! American old women at airports around the world can be recognized by modern wheelchairs with automated control and gray neat hairstyles - they have enough money for travel and beauty salons.
The article began for health and ended for peace.
Ambulance travels not to everyone and not everywhere in America.
And Grandmothers are not all polls traveling.
No need to project from the movie screens into real life.

But what socially граждане this fact is protected and will not be there with impunity for money; Yes, they rule the military-industrial complex corporations, etc. And most importantly, if you want to do business, you will have support at least in the form of loans at almost ZERO%, and not like ours from 14 to 24%.

all the channels show modern films copied from the United States - only murders, violence, mountains of corpses and a sea of blood. The main “heroes” are bandits, hooligans and other scumbags, as well as some people who live in chic mansions and don't understand where the solid money comes from (almost no film shows where and by whom they work). One cannot but envy the standard of living of prostitutes, kept women and other ladies of easy and light behavior.

Among the movie characters there is no mention of steelworkers, weavers, grain growers, teachers and writers - all this is a thing of the past.
Bold plus! what is true is true.

Only Orthodoxy, the Gospel - this Constitution of the Spirit, can be the rule. The Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the Trinity-Sergius Monastery near Moscow - this is the core thanks to which, we Slavs, have the example of Alexander Matrosov and thousands of the same unknown, whose names we don’t know and before which even the enemies take off their hat.
“Do not collect treasures for yourself on the earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves dig and steal, but collect treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves do not dig and steal” (Matt. 6:19 -20).

There are no churches in Sweden anymore; churches are empty. Everyone wants order, prosperity, justice, the Tsar-priest, etc. etc. At the same time they forget that this is all-perish. God does not want a person to wallow in worldly concerns and forget about him, about God.
“Watch for yourself, so that your hearts are not burdened by eating and drunkenness and the cares of life, so that day does not suddenly comprehend you, for it, like a net, will be found on all those living throughout the face of the earth; so, watch for all time and pray, that you may be able to avoid all these future calamities and appear before the Son of Man ”(Lk.21,34).

That is why there is no "fat life" in Russia, but the Orthodox service in the church is pleasing to God, therefore it is still alive, no matter what.
When they shouted to Jesus Christ: "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!", The majority thought that a king had come who would deliver the Jews from Roman slavery. But it turned out differently:
    "Chapter 18
    28. Christ before Pilate
    36. Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, then my servants would strive for me, so that I would not be delivered to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from here. "

Therefore, the main thing is not a king, a ruler, but the main thing is the salvation of the soul. Everyone in his place, in his family. What is it? Everything is written in the "good news" - the Gospel.
    But ...
"Do not approach the words of the sacraments contained in the Divine Scriptures without prayer and asking for help from God, but say: let me, Lord, accept the feeling of the power contained in them."
    prp Isaac the Syrian.

In general, many people miss an ambulance with a beacon on the road?

No legislative ideological developments, especially with state coercion, will help to build a healthy society. A full, spiritually healthy society is possible if each individual of this society begins the process of spiritual healing from himself, from his family.

Why did you build it? What does it have to do with and on (do you know the spelling better than the author? Are you a Linguist?) What does the language a person speaks have to do with his moral qualities. Why is your sensible article translated into the plane of hatred of Ukrainians?

I did not notice any hint of hatred. But the Russian language does not need to be taught, because of their Russianness, Ukrainians believe that they have a right. And this determines their attitude to our common history. Also, the Kazakhs when they abandoned the Cyrillic alphabet. Not in vain we are building a new spaceport, the same thing in relations with Ukraine.

In this respect, the advertising of Gazprom is especially "happy" when the "Miller team" (by the way - Miller, a typical Russian surname, I suppose from the Cossacks?), Declares that they are "national treasure", some special sense of pride covers the soul for our "property", and only one question arises, when will you guys get drunk? (Especially after the next increase in tariffs!)

Everything that is written in the article = is the quintessence of that worldview, which is called capitalism, all the ulcers are rotting and smelling bad, everything is here. Some forum member named Alexander, began to say that Lenin brewed a civil war and terror. Stalin supported the terror. I would like to ask what now, why innocent people are being killed, why the bulk of the population is rotting alive. What to do with those who rob the country, ditch the army, we must probably show humanism with them as with Vasilyeva and Taburetkin. as with Minister Kovalev, as with Chubais and so on. If Alexander thinks so, the abyss is insurmountable.

It is from this and similar that we would take an example and try to make the same life for our people, namely people, and not “electorate” or “people”.
It has long been clear that the "people" are only a hindrance to the current leaders. All decisions and laws are made only so that we would die faster.

The next revolution is clearly not an option. The authorities will again not be the most worthy. As the saying goes - the pans are fighting, and the slaves foreheads crack! The first thing the country needs is the equality of ALL before the law and the inevitability of punishment! And then let everyone decide for themselves whether to give or take bribes, to steal or not. But remember that the LAW IS ONE FOR EVERYONE!

With good intentions, the road to hell is paved.
The law for all is the height of hypocrisy. This has never been and never will be.
But in order for worthy people to come to power, they did revolutions for this.
The results of the revolutions were different, but this does not mean at all that they were useless or even harmful.
In the end, according to the laws of philosophy, something will once accumulate, pass into a new quality, and in the revolution will yield a socially positive result.
By the way, no matter how much they reviled the revolution, however much they forbade them, but they follow one after another in a continuous series.
The last - in Egypt ... Someone against? Or are pro-Western revolutions good and others illegal?

I liked the beginning of the article, where about education. Otherwise, so-so. Nuuu right now they are promoting all sorts of correct professions like cops on TV, there are a lot of TV shows. Or doctors - also a bunch. Everything is good, everything is correct, happy everywhere. In real life, I really don't want to run into representatives of these respected professions. In order not to lose health, freedom and money. They thump, in principle, then yes. But in this way a certain selection of society takes place. After all, the majority do not drink, and do not wait for hothouse conditions for survival. The last thesis about amero-pensioners was surprised. Judging by the Ukrainian pensioners traveling to Europe on vacation or sightseeing tours (and, believe me, there are quite a few of them), you can imagine that everything in Ukraine is "a bunch".
