Today the flagship of the Baltic fleet destroyer "Persistent" left the main naval base in the city of Baltiysk and headed for Kronstadt to participate in the festive parade in honor of Baltic Fleet Day.
Together with the destroyer Persistent, the small rocket ship Liven and the base minesweeper BT-212 went into the sea for the inter-base crossing.
During the transition to Kronstadt, the crews of the ships will work out the elements of joint maneuvering, conduct training in communications, air defense, and perform a number of combat training tasks at sea.
This is the second detachment of the combat ships of the Baltic Fleet, which makes an inter-base transition to the Leningrad naval base to participate in the parade. Missile boats "Dimitrovgrad" and "P-2", which came out earlier, are currently already in Kronstadt.
In total, around the 310 surface ships, boats, submarines and support vessels will be involved in the celebration of the 30 anniversary of the fleet in Baltiysk and Kronstadt.
