Moldova: the Russian language and the ideology of ethno-democracy

37
Ironically, the loud political brand "Liberal Party of Moldova" went to the political formation of unionists - opponents of Moldovan national identity and Moldovan statehood, moreover - supporters of the annexation of the lands of modern Moldova (former Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic) to another state - Romania.

The social base of this unionist party is currently in Moldova no more than a tenth of the population. And despite the fact that the number of its active supporters is steadily falling due to the general catastrophic decline in confidence in the ruling Alliance for European Integration, which includes this initially anti-state party, which exploits the word “freedom” in its name, but which has the ultimate goal of final surrender of the freedom and independence of the Moldovan people at the mercy of the rulers of the neighboring state - a member of the NATO military bloc.

Headed by the deputy of the Parliament Mihai Ghimpu and his nephew, the capital's mayor, Dorin Chirtoaca, is a curious political formation demonstrates the inimitable combination of archaic patriarchal crony began Carpatho-Balkan clan traditions with moribund ideas of Western liberalism in the spirit of the views of Zbigniew Brzezinski and the Baltic neo-Nazis. Being composed entirely of former Soviet citizens, former Soviet intellectuals, teachers, writers, poets, party and Komsomol activists, as well as their children and grandchildren, brought up now in the spirit of belligerent, belated and ridiculous anti-Sovietism mythological food.

The dogmas of the Liberal Party of Moldova originate in the Romanian nationalist historiography, as well as in the unthinkable fusion of the liberal democratic and national socialist traditions of Western Europe. The Romanian nation, according to these views, was not formed in the process of a long and contradictory chain historical events that culminated in the political unification of the Wallachian (Romanian) and Moldavian principalities in the second half of the XNUMXth century, but through the mystical union of the ancient Dacians with the Romans who defeated and enslaved them. All Eastern Romanesque peoples from Istria to Macedonia and from the Balkans to the Carpathians should be considered, regardless of their will, Romanians. "We are all Romanians, period!" - this is the favorite motto of “the president of all Romanians from everywhere” of the current president of Romania Traian Basescu, who unceremoniously arrogated to himself the right to interfere in the internal affairs of neighboring states, in whose territories those who consider themselves (or whom Romanian diplomacy considers) ethnic Romanians live. Naturally, all of them should be retrained according to Romanian textbooks that set out the foundations of Romanian "imperial" historiography. And this crafty historiography stigmatizes all ethnic groups, without which the ethnogenesis of Romanians (ancient Slavs, Polovtsians and other peoples) would in fact be unthinkable as “invaders”, “barbarians” and “newcomers” in the territories allegedly originally belonging to the ancestors of today's “Romanians from everywhere” (led by their "international head" Traian Basescu).

Neither for the Moldovans, nor for the representatives of other ethnic groups of the population of Moldova in such, if one may say so, “liberal” picture of the world there is no worthy place and cannot be. For the former, because, in the opinion of the “liberals,” their very existence on the planet is nonsense, for the latter, because they are despicable “invaders” and “aliens.”

According to these cave and militant "liberal" views, the main "world evil" on the planet Earth are "Russians" and their "Russian-speaking" allies - we put these words in quotes, because these generally accepted terms in world practice have in the eyes of Moldovan "liberals" -unionists completely unusual content. “Russians” are some demonic creatures, from time immemorial acting as enemies of “Romanians from everywhere”, and “Russian speakers” are their “henchmen”, starting with the Moldovans who speak Russian and recognize him the right of the language of international communication in Moldova (according to the existing in the country legislation), and ending with the Ukrainians, Gagauz, Bulgarians, Jews, Gypsies and other "alien". In the ideology of the "liberal" ethno-democrats, all of them, voluntarily or unwittingly, act as "agents of Moscow."

For an ethnic democrat from Moldova, “freedom” and “democracy” are concepts that are fully applicable only to those Moldovan citizens who can be attributed by the “liberals” themselves to the “Romanian nation”. As in slave-holding Athens: “democracy” only for “free”, i.e. only for the Athenians. Attached to all the rest - "alien" and slaves - it is unthinkable.

The highest achievement of “liberal” ethno-democratic thought in Moldova was the requirement to remove the Russian language as the language of the “newcomers” and “occupiers” from circulation in all spheres of state, public and economic life, from everyday life, the press, television, radio and even the Internet. This is the main idea of the bill №135 from 26 March 2013, “On language policy in the Republic of Moldova”, proposed by the deputy from the Liberal Party by a linguist professor (!) Anna Gutu and laying the legal foundations of ethnocracy and cultural-linguistic apartheid in the Republic of Moldova ...

Such a bill, if adopted, would mean, firstly, that the Russian language in the territory of the country would lose its current status as a language of international communication. The Russian and Russian-speaking population of Moldova will be significantly restricted in the right to free access to information and in the opportunities for learning in this language. And the first to suffer from this are ethnic Moldovans, as well as the economy of the republic as a whole, since Moldova receives about two-thirds (about two billion US dollars) of all foreign exchange earnings in its economy from transfers of citizens leaving for work to Russia.

Secondly, this completely and finally closes the way to the settlement of the Transnistrian problem, where the Russian language has a wide circulation and state status.

And finally, thirdly, the Russian-Moldovan relations, which are already going through not the best of times, with the adoption of this odious bill threaten to turn into new intractable problems in the diplomatic, economic and cultural fields.

It is not surprising that this cannibalistic pattern of “liberal” and “enlightened” lawmaking caused a wave of fair indignation and indignation in Moldova and beyond its borders. The profanation of Western European and world liberal-democratic thought reached its extreme expression, it seems, in Moldova, a country once famous for its ethno-cultural diversity and tolerance in international relations. And it happened during the time of the inglorious and incompetent reign of the Alliance for European Integration, jealously supported by the officials of the European Union.

It is from there, from Brussels, that we are constantly told about Moldova’s unprecedented “success story” in recent years on the path to “progress in reform”, in which Moldova, they say, “overtook” all the other “reforming” countries of Eastern Europe - Ukraine, Georgia, etc. And you will never get an answer to the question of how in the collapse of the financial, industrial, agricultural, social, medical and educational system of the country over the four years of the reign of the politically mediocre, anti-people "Alliance" you can see the "success story in ormirovanii "?

Not only are Moldovan citizens now being suffocated with exorbitant prices and tariffs, furiously increasing debts to the IMF, the World Bank and other international financial structures, an unprecedented rampant corruption and extortion by government officials, depressing unemployment and other charms of “liberal democracy” - citizens continue to humiliate with endless judicial injustices, intolerable pressure of ethnocracy and “ethno-democracy”, including infringement of their civil rights and freedoms in the sphere of culture language.

It would be completely naive to believe that all these arts of the “liberal-democratic” rulers of Moldova are unknown to the Brussels “European integrators”. However, it is not important for them - it is important not to allow Moldova under no circumstances to be included in the orbit of the Customs Union, but to remain a link of the “sanitary cordon” between the West and the East, stretched from the Baltic to the Black Sea. To achieve this goal, all means are good. Even such as the creation of a "linguistic apartheid" system that discriminates against the Russian and Russian-speaking population of the country, in which, according to the law, the Russian language is still the language of interethnic communication.

History decreed that it was thanks to the “Russian-speaking invaders” that the Moldavian ethnic tradition and the ancient statehood of the Moldavian people were revived from the ashes, gaining a new breath in the modern world.

In accordance with the Bucharest Treaty of 1812, the eastern territories of the once mighty Moldovan principality, which had fallen into disrepair, were alienated from the Ottoman Empire and annexed to Russia. In 1940, thanks to the very "invaders", these lands acquired a new state status. By that time, the Moldavian princedom in its Zaprut part had long since ceased to exist, having entered the newly formed Romanian state in the second half of the 19th century.

Joseph Stalin was well aware that the only way to block the claims of the royal Romania to the lands of the former Russian Bessarabian province is to recognize the Moldovans' historical rights to their national and state existence. As a result, Moldova today has internationally recognized state status, membership in the UN and other international organizations.

It was from 1812 that the intensive development of the Moldavian region began not only in economic, technical and cultural relations, but also, what is most striking, in relation to the demographic. In two centuries of “occupation”, the population of the region grew from one hundred twenty thousand people to more than four million (of which more than two thirds are ethnic Moldovans). And the colossal role in this rapid development belonged to the “Russian-speaking invaders”. This became especially noticeable in the era of the “totalitarian Soviet regime”, when Moldova laid solid foundations of modern industry, agriculture, energy, transport communications, social welfare and health care systems, higher and secondary education, science and culture, modern town planning and much more. that is now partly destroyed, partly continues to be destroyed by the will of the "liberal" and "democratic" rulers of Moldova.

Naturally, the Russian language has acquired in its new conditions its legal status of the language of international communication for all ethnic groups and cultures inhabiting the country. Many Moldovans received education in leading universities of the USSR, and many outstanding specialists, engineers, doctors and teachers from other Soviet republics laid in Moldova the solid foundations of modern services, industries, and scientific research.

And despite all the imbalances in the functioning of the Moldavian language in the Moldavian SSR, the number of first-class Moldovan schools in rural and urban areas grew steadily, as did the number of Moldovans in the ranks of industrial and agricultural workers, in the ranks of the intelligentsia, among state and administrative workers and party organs. And all this is primarily due to the development of the Russian language as the language of international communication throughout the territory of a huge Soviet state.

Now, home-grown Moldavian “liberals” and unionists blame the “Russian-speaking invaders”, the omnipresent “hand of Moscow” and the Russian language in all the misfortunes and sins of their incompetent and destructive government, trying by any legal and illegal means not only to limit its use, but also to eliminate it altogether him from public and state life. This is how the scandalous and explosive draft law No. XXUMX “On language policy in the Republic of Moldova” mentioned above, put forward by a deputy from the “liberals” Anna Gutu and providing for truly draconian measures against the Russian language.

Some "beautiful-minded" Moldovan citizens naively believe that this sample of linguistic obscurantism has no chance of being adopted in the parliament of "pro-European" Moldova. For the reason that, being guided by vested electoral interests, being interested in attracting Russian-speaking voters, the leaders of other ruling parties from the half-ruined "Alliance for European Integration" will not allow the support of an odious bill when voting in parliament. Is not it?

Let us descend from heaven to the sinful land of Moldova and take a look at the prospects for adopting a draconian bill from the point of view of the real political situation in a country undergoing a sharp governmental crisis.

Firstly, in the camp of the Moldovan "liberals", from whose parliamentary votes the fate of the next government essentially depends, there was a fraught with far-reaching consequences. And this means that the “schismatics”, who betrayed the “main liberal of the country” Mihai Ghimpu, who absolutely refused to support the new government of Vlad Filat, would require serious concessions from the leaders of the other “allied parties” in all areas of political and administrative activity.

Secondly, given that these “liberal dissenters” were headed by that same mistress of linguists Anna Gutsu, who became famous for his uncompromisingly Russophobic views, it is natural to expect that in favor of the votes of her “dissenters” in parliament, cast in favor of the new government cabinet, she would demand support for her odious bill. And this can already give rise to very serious problems not only in parliament, but also in the country as a whole, especially in relations with Transnistria. Why is it so important for Mrs. Gutsu and her "schismatics"? Not so much, we dare to assure, because of their doctrinal and other “convictions”, but for a very simple reason: if they betray their benefactor to Ghimpu and being expelled from his “liberal” party, they will urgently need the support of precisely that part of the Russophobic and unionist electorate "Liberals", which recently was unhappy with the "too soft" and even "comprador", in their opinion, the policy of its leader.

Moreover, from now on, for Mrs. Gutu, the “pushing” of this Russophobic language project becomes a matter of honor in her attempts to take a place on the country's political Olympus by serving her Romanian and Western European patrons. Moreover, the angry and devoted to her leader of the “liberals” Mihai Ghimpu accused Madame Gutsu no more and no less than the fact that the proverbial “hand of Moscow” (!) Acts from behind her. And if such a charge seems delusional and paranoid to any sensible person, then for preachers of cave-like Russophobia and unionism in Moldova, all this looks quite plausible and even worthy of attention.

Difficult times are coming for the fate of the Russian language in Moldova, when maximum mobilization of the Civil Congress of Moldova is needed, bringing together all the people of goodwill from different nationalities, for whom the struggle for civil rights and freedoms is not an empty phrase. The Moldovan “European integrators” and their foreign patrons went too far in their destructive actions ...

This evil feeds you, dresses and warms you, treats and teaches children of your migrant workers in high school for free.
    Evil?
    No problem, suitcase-station-Romania, pah, Moldova.
Let's see how you sing in a year or two.

In the coming years, migrant workers' transfers will grow, but the “geography” of cash flows will change somewhat. Due to the crisis in the eurozone, Moldovan labor migrants will settle even more in oil-rich Russia.

The World Bank (WB) this week presented another survey on migration and remittances in the world. Experts once again noted the excellent stability of international private capital flows before the global financial crisis: after a slight recession in 2009, they quickly recovered.

Transnistria became part of the Moldavian SSR after Romania returned Bessarabia. Prior to this, if you look at the maps of 1938, Transnistria was an integral part of the Ukrainian SSR.
As for the current "liberals" in Moldova - these, indeed, surpassed everyone in the post-Soviet space.

The Soviet ruble was respected no less than the dollar, and they prayed to Gorbi: he will open the border, we’ll all go to Russia to earn money. Iliescu was covered in vain. USSR collapsed and dummies burnt! Here is Transnistria in the 92nd!

One language, one faith, one written language - I think Moldovans and Romanians are one people divided at one time between the Republic of Ingushetia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Due to long-term residence in different states, there is little difference in mentality, since Romanians lived for about 80 years in a national state and Moldovans lived in an empire. What to choose to unite with Romania, to build your own state, to join a resurgent empire, as in a fairy tale, go to the left to lose a horse, go to the right to lose your head, go straight I don’t know what you will find.

Speaking in one language, this still does not mean that we are one nation, and that we must unite, and that we have a lot in common. Nothing like that, we have different customs, we look at life differently, and we are not gypsies like many Russians speak to us and have never been to them.

In Transnistria, there were only a third of Russians, like Moldovans, but they were united during the massacre. I only learned this year that they were bombed in their own moments, but the pilots were brought in from Romania. It was especially striking that the duped "frontists" and some of the troops directed against Transnistria, having learned that Moldova was being prepared for export to Romania, declared a strike for the war until guarantees were given that this would not happen.

No, I myself studied with Moldovans from the prenistria and I perfectly know what it is.
The thing is that the Russian will be from the fact that Moldova is independent or part of Romania ?? The state language is Moldavian, the Moldavian holidays, that they will ban the Russians there ?? It seems everything is under the standards of Moldova. I just don’t understand what will be Russian from this?
Explain then I’ll change my mind, it’s neither cold nor hot for me in the structure or without the Russian side, and the problem of Transnistria will remain until the Russian troops there, i.e. joining Romania will also solve nothing, of course Romania is bigger and stronger than Moldova, but not the level of the Russian Federation.

The USSR really was a family of peoples who deny it or is flabby or worse. There were some difficulties with some of them in the family, not without a freak, but without the support of these difficulties from outside and with the right policies, they would have become obsolete. Russian princes did not collect land for nothing, divide and rule not invented yesterday. Therefore, even if the country recovers within its former limits, it is not worth stopping at them. All land belongs to us people and not politicians.

Explain then I will change my mind, for me in the composition or without the composition of the Russians it’s neither cold nor hot,

It is almost as if a country was divided into 2 parts, the population of both parts not only close mentally but also overgrown with numerous family and other ties, and then one part would be pushed into an alien country. First, the USSR was divided, then additional dividends began, and the source of the problems is still the same ...

My wife's uncle, a Ukrainian by nationality, lives all his life on the territory of Moldova, in Chisinau. I was there in the blessed Soviet times, when the republic was provided with consumer goods and especially food products better than many other areas of the USSR. Wine flowed, no one considered a penny to live to the next. pensions or salaries. No one could even think that in the midst of winter an apartment building could be disconnected from heating, as is happening now. Naturally, after the collapse of the USSR, agricultural production of Moldova remains a product of exclusively domestic consumption. There was a Kvant plant in Chisinau. made some electronics and a plant for the production of powerful pumping equipment. Naturally, with the advent of European integrators, both enterprises ordered a long life. Everyone who can work, with the exception of officials, goes to work, mainly to Russia, young people do not see any prospects in the country, nevertheless, European integrators trumpet successes and continue to play the nationalist and Romanian cards. Romanians are waiting for a convenient moment for the occupation of Moldova, here they are probably constrained only by the presence of a Russian military base in Transnistria, therefore Europeans are so eagerly demanding from Russia to withdraw the remnants of the base from Transdniestria. But I think they won’t wait ...

NATO really wants to move further east. The accession of Moldova to Romania resolves the issue without the adoption procedure, in spite of Transnistria. Therefore, the monetary replenishment of these representatives will not run out.

lived under the USSR and there were no problems

What's so surprising about the "cold war" lost, the enemies defeated the country (not so long ago the CIA ruled in the Kremlin), almost got a few more microstates from Russia. Or maybe Russia now has sovereignty? Only in Belarus, more or less, and then I'm not sure otherwise they would have taken it more zealously.

He lived in Soviet Moldova for 17 years. There are not enough words, something to say ... In Dubossary, at the cemetery, friends and classmates who died in 90-92 are buried. In Moldavian land, parents rest. Friends, colleagues, their children and grandchildren live, and in Chisinau too. There are no words ...

How much racism! I live in Moldova and I know that all the inhabitants of the country wish fraternal relations with Russia. This liberal "party" has 7 seats and is screaming at the whole world. And komunyaki are also corrupt, strive to enter the EU. How tired of this chaos. Can't Russia replace this damn power in Moldova? The whole nation suffers because of such "reformers". Thanks to Farit Mukhametshin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Moldova, for supporting the entire people of Moldova by organizing various events timed to coincide with Victory Day. Hope the whole mess will end soon.

    That's the point.
The masses of people blinded by the EBN (we are not counted as honest communists) allowed the villains to do whatever their CIA advisers wanted with the collapsed USSR. And the vileness of the foreign ministry of A. Kozyrev and his Co. ° we still see.

I want to say that at least 90% want fraternal relations with Russia. The latest poll showed that 0,8 respondents trust the President of Moldova, while 74% trust Putin. Do you feel the difference? I am sure that this "Alliance for European Integration" will fail in the next parliamentary elections. And in conclusion, one good news. The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Moldova informs that on May 9, the Great Victory Day, famous Russian singers Lev Leshchenko and Iosif Kobzon will perform on the Great National Assembly Square. So, in addition to Leshchenko and Kobzon, residents of the capital and guests of Chisinau will be able to admire the creativity of the performers of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the military orchestra of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova. Also, as it became known during the meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and the founder of the Commonwealth Fund Igor Tulyantsev, the Russian official will also celebrate the Victory Day in Chisinau. By this I would like to confirm all of the above, that the people of Moldova are for Russia. And don't give a damn about a couple of Russophobic officials!

And how were the chess festivals held there .... in the city of Sverdlovsk at the All-Union conference on the physical methods of studying metal melts 1985 people from Moldova spoke (they were unfamiliar with each other!) !! And this is from a republic where there was no metallurgy !!!

You see, if they hadn’t touched the Russians, we wouldn’t have been in the bay, if they didn’t want to seize the pro-Russian Transnistria, where ours are the overwhelming majority, and it’s the Russians who are pressed against with the help of the Romanians ... is it really not clear to you?

The Liberal Party of Moldova has submitted to Parliament a new bill on the functioning of languages in Moldova. The document proposes to amend the legislation of the country, recognize Romanian as the official language of Moldova and abolish the status of Russian as a language of interethnic communication. It is also envisaged that the study of the Romanian language as the official language of the state of the Republic of Moldova is a necessary condition for the social and professional integration of Moldovan citizens. The current project of the liberals has been prepared to replace the law on the functioning of languages adopted in September 1989 in the territory of the Moldavian SSR.

    In Chisinau
May they want to declare May Day over fascism 9 a funeral day, and declare St. George ribbon outlawed.
Such a proposal was made by the head of the department of external relations, regional cooperation and European integration of the municipality Gabriela Chumak during a meeting of the city hall, Pan.md reports.
The mayor promised that next year events in the main square of the country, where Europe Day will be held, will be banned.

Well, Romanians you are Romanians, only the Romanians are silent, they do not take them to themselves, to see their problems enough. If only the Rus would annoy, but stand in front of the future owners on their hind legs, they might give a bone or bone in the face.
