Behind the scenes of Ukrainian Nazism
February 6 at a meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea adopted a resolution on the need to counter the strengthening of neo-Nazi sentiments in Ukraine. In particular, the statement of the press service of the Crimean parliament emphasized: “A clear manifestation of this trend was the arrival in the Verkhovna Rada of the All-Ukrainian Union“ Freedom ”, whose leaders in their public statements use Nazi rhetoric. We consider it expedient to create an All-Ukrainian anti-fascist association of deputies of all levels in order to counteract the spread and propaganda of the ideas of Nazism in Ukraine. ”
It is clear that the creation of the "All-Ukrainian Anti-Fascist Association" Edward Leonov, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the party "Freedom", announced an attempt to discredit the Ukrainian nationalists.
In fact, the initiative of the Crimean parliamentarians was a response to the “banderization” of Ukraine announced by one of the most active “figures” of “Freedom” - the infamous Irina Farion. This new political term was put into circulation at the gathering of Ukrainian Nazis in Lviv on January 1 of this year, the occasion for which was “an important historical date ”- the 104th birthday of the leader of Ukrainian collaborators Stepan Bandera. That day, Farion said: “We will demonstrate to the whole world that today the great Bandera nation has revived. The greatest gift at the feet of Stepan Bandera lies our unique victory in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada. This is so far our first achievement in Ukraine’s banderization. ” The logical conclusion of the "banderization" of Ukraine should be the seizure of state power. This was openly announced by the deputy chairman of the Freedom party, Andrei Mokhnik, at the “torchsung” in Kiev. Like Farion in Lviv, Mokhnik began his speech with boastful statements about the creation of a "bridgehead of Ukrainian nationalism within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada." But the highlight of the program was the following statement by Mohnik:
“Very soon we will have considerable power in our hands. The 105 anniversary of the birth of Stepan Bandera, which we will celebrate next year, imposes a great responsibility on us: we must unite the nation and be ready to take full power in the state. ”
We add that the data of sociology register a slow, but still steady growth in the rating of Ukrainian Nazis. So, February 7 published the results of a sociological survey conducted by the OPAD foreign policy research center, according to which, three months after the parliamentary elections, the number of supporters of Freedom IN increased from 10,44% to 12,4%. Their leader Oleg Tyagnibok has already announced his intention to stand as a candidate in the presidential election 2015 of the year.
Only two years ago, Freedom was a politically insignificant, marginal movement that geographically did not go beyond the three western Ukrainian regions - Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil. The nationalist electoral niche developed by Tyagnibok and the company long before their appearance on the political stage was already thoroughly dug up by a number of other small-scale parties and movements of a similar sense: KUN, NRU, UNA-UNSO, UNP. Even under the conditions of the Orange Revolution, the Ukrainian Nazis could not achieve any significant results in elections at all levels. And suddenly, “Freedom” literally within a few months makes an amazing political takeoff, achieving an unprecedented result in the parliamentary elections and becoming one of the most influential parties on a national scale. As you know, in the big politics of chance and miracles do not happen. Immediately after summing up the 28 October 2012 elections to the Verkhovna Rada, in the Ukrainian mass media, publications began to appear one after another that certain forces and groups of influence were directly interested in pushing the political Olympus.
Otherwise, it is impossible to explain where the recent local Ukrainian party of the recently suddenly had financial resources for conducting a large-scale propaganda campaign, the implementation of high-profile street actions and the creation of a network of organizations in all regions of the country.
So who was behind the party, and for what purpose did you intend to use it?
First of all, it is necessary to mention an important “milestone” in the history of the Freedom Party. 3 October 2012 year, the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine officially recognized it as a Nazi organization. One of the main arguments in favor of this decision was the fact that earlier the Freedom Alliance was called the “Social-Nationalist Party of Ukraine”. Indeed, quite obvious parallels can be seen between the Hitlerite “National Socialists” and the Tyagnibokov “Social-Nationalists” in the sense that both of them initially collected mainly marginal criminal elements under their banner. Accordingly, Tyagnibok’s party cash desk was replenished with money of a very dark origin coming from “sympathizers” from the criminal world of Western Ukraine. In this regard, we note that in September 2011, some facts of the “opaque” biography of two leaders of Freedom, who occupy high posts in the authorities of the Lviv region, came to light. So, the deputy chairman of the Lviv Regional Council Petr Kolodiy in the "dashing" 90 years was connected with the criminal authority Orest Zavinsky nicknamed "Zavinya" and took part in racketeering on the Lviv clothing market "Pivdenny". And the 31-year-old deputy of the Lviv regional council from Svoboda, the secretary of the commission on the fuel and energy sector and entrepreneurship development Anatoly Zavaruyev received a suspended sentence for burglary in 2001 (robbed a stall in the village of Krasnoye for the amount of one and a half thousand hryvnias). But all this, as they say, is "flowers."
28 August 2012, the Ukrainian analytical publication “Versions” published a material called “The Gangster Wars of Ukraine”, in which the history of the bloody clashes among the leaders of criminal gangs of the Lviv region was described in great detail. The reason for the publication was the perfect 24 of August 2012 of the year in Lviv, the murder of the well-known criminal authority "Vova-Mordy" (Vladimir Didukh). It is appropriate to ask the question: where does the political party “Freedom” come from? The fact is that journalists many times asked the “Freedom” deputies about the sources of their funding. All questions were usually followed by a stereotypical answer: the financial support is handled by a specially created Economic Council of the Party. It was the chairman of the Economic Council of VO “Freedom” Igor Krivetsky who turned out to be one of the main figures in the journalistic investigation of gang wars in Western Ukraine. As the journalists found the newspaper "Versions", in the criminal environment Krivetsky was known by the nickname "Pups" and was part of the brigade of Lviv authority "Kohli-Roquero", who was shot dead in November 2007 of the year. Another interesting fact: Krivetsky is the co-founder of a certain LLC Mongusta, established in 2008 year. Another founder of this commercial structure is a certain Maxim Vladimirovich Didukh, the son of “Vova-Mordy”. And for such a close commercial partnership there were very good reasons. According to the operational data of the anti-drug trafficking department of the Lviv Central Internal Affairs Directorate, Krivetsky - Pups owns a network of nightclubs, which are known to Lviv operatives as sales points for cocaine, ecstasy and other "rave" narcotic substances. And the drug traffic in the Lviv region controlled Didukh- “Morda”. It can be assumed that either through the aforementioned company the drug money laundering was carried out, or Krivetsky in this way created for himself certain security guarantees. Also, it cannot be excluded that the introduction of Didukh junior into the business was carried out for reasons of ensuring the latest political career, as the son of Vova Morda was nominated as a candidate for deputy of the Ukrainian Social Democratic Party, and a considerable amount of money is needed for the election campaign . Moreover, Didukh Sr. himself showed considerable interest in real politics. As the journalists found out the Ukrainian edition of Tsenzor.Net: “Vova Morda spoke with politicians. Bogdan Shkarada, the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Lviv region, said that "Morda" was actively helping the "orange" revolution and his people were guarding some of the opposition on the Maidan. “Morda” was also called the adviser to one of the “Orange” ministers ”.
Apparently, the money from the criminal "obschak" was quite enough to push Pushkin and his "brothers" into the deputies of the local councils of three Western Ukrainian regions. But for the performance of "Freedom" in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada needed a much more serious sponsor. And such is really found.
The oligarch Igor Kolomoysky, the “gray cardinal” of one of the most influential financial-industrial groups in Ukraine, took on further financial efforts to promote politics.
This is the Privat group (according to the data of the Ukrainian economic journal Focus, the state of Kolomoisky exceeds 6 billion dollars). December 7 2010 Kolomoisky gave an interview to the Kiev newspaper Stolichnye news”, In which he stated about the“ great prospects ”of the Freedom party. “In the near future, Freedom can take over leadership in the West and in the Center of Ukraine. After the collapse of the former leaders of the Orange movement, Our Ukraine and BYuT, this niche remained unfilled, a vacuum was created, ”the oligarch emphasized. To the journalist's question about the frankly Nazi manners of the company and the company, Kolomoisky condescendingly replied: "I see that lately Freedom has clearly shifted from ultra-nationalism closer to the center, has become more moderate." Indeed, the party immediately after the launch of the December 9 2012 session of the Verkhovna Rada of the VII convocation demonstrated its “moderation” by introducing a bill introducing a tax on Russian songs performed on radio, in movies, on television and on stage, and on imposing fines for conversations of Ukrainian citizens in Russian.
Of course, such a close interest of Igor Kolomoisky to the party, which is known for its anti-Semitism, seems paradoxical. Kolomoisky is well known not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe for its Zionist views.
But the common hostility towards Russia unites Kolomoisky and, on this basis, the latter has a similarity of interests with the most odious Russian “political émigré” Boris Berezovsky.
As noted by the observer of the Ukrainian Internet publication From-ua, Peter Bespalov: “Almost behind all the cases of“ pushing ”Russian investors out of the Ukrainian market is the Privat group and its ideological inspirer, Igor V. Kolomoisky. Another interesting fact is that for many years Igor Kolomoisky has maintained friendly relations with the disgraced Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky. Their correspondence has already been repeatedly made publicly before, in particular, a letter from Kolomoisky about upcoming events on the eve of the events on Maidan in 2004. And in the future, they repeatedly met (and continue to meet) in the territory of Israel, whose citizens are both. Moreover, after each such meeting, there are some events in Ukraine: either a political upheaval or serious troubles among large Russian companies, which have an extremely negative effect on the country's economic well-being, but it brings serious profits to Kolomoisky and, probably, to Berezovsky. ” We add that Kolomoisky is one of the most zealous opponents of Ukraine joining the Customs Union, which he has repeatedly stated publicly. And this, again, ideologically brings him closer to the Ukrainian Nazis.
Finally, there are some other practical interests in the alliance of Kolomoisky with Tyagnibok. October 22 2008, when Yulia Tymoshenko was the Prime Minister of Ukraine, political analyst Taras Berezovets gave an interview to the newspaper Novy Region, in which he declared: “The radical nationalist party Svoboda has every chance to go to the Verkhovna Rada, since now this political force has stable funding, which is provided by co-owner of Privat Group Igor Kolomoisky. Kolomoisky is counting on the fact that Tyagnibok will take votes from Yulia Tymoshenko, and the tense relations between the Privat group and the prime minister are not a secret. ” As far as the serious clashes were going on between the oligarch and the “Lady Yu”, one can judge by the following statement by Kolomoisky: “If Tymoshenko becomes president, then I will leave for emigration.”
At the end of this picture, we add that when in November 2012, the editor-in-chief of the “Kiev Jewish” media project Eleonora Groysman opened the campaign against Freedom, accusing her of Nazism, Kolomoisky openly took the leader of the Ukrainian Nazis under protection.
On the day of his election as president of the Jewish community of Ukraine, he called not to be afraid of Oleg Tyagnibok: “I believe that there are no grounds for panic.” In this regard, we note that Tyagnibok himself made a return obeisance to Kolomoisky: in an interview with the Ukrainian edition of the Correspondent, he said that the assault detachments of the Svoboda party would cut only the “communists and Moscow agents”. This interview was published under the heading: “Who will be the first to cut it?”
However, it is not only Kolomoisky who seeks to use “Freedom” in his own interests. 20 December 2012, a Ukrainian political analyst Mikhail Pogrebinsky, in an interview with Nezavisimaya Gazeta, suggested that the administration of the President of Ukraine could have a hand in breaking through to Verkhovna Rada. In his opinion, the Yanukovych team decided to use Tyagnibok to take away part of the votes from the “traditional opposition” headed by Yulia Tymoshenko. Within the framework of this scenario, the Freedom, Faryon and other leaders of Svoboda provided regular flashes on the largest Ukrainian TV channels, whose shares belong to persons from the inner circle of President Yanukovych. In this regard, it should be remembered that this kind of “tricky scheme” quite successfully worked in the local elections 31 of October 2010. Moreover, information about the corresponding "intersection of interests" of the Party of Regions with both the "orange" and the "brown" nationalists was not a secret. Three months before the regional elections of 2010, one of the then leaders of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc (BYuT) Andrei Shkil gave a very interesting interview to the Russian news agency Rosbalt, in which he said that the Party of Regions is developing a scenario of artificially raising the rating of the Fronts for Change, Arseny Yatsenyuk and “Freedoms” in order to “pull away” BYuT votes in Western Ukraine. “The Party of Regions will help these forces in order to maximally press out the BYuT. We know this, so they still will not succeed. We know about these plans and will win the elections, ”Shkil said. Nevertheless, the political strategists with Bankova succeeded completely: according to the results of the local elections in October, the PR received 2010%, BYuT - 36,2%, "Front for Changes" - 13,1%, VO "Svoboda" - 6,84%. But such schemes usually do not work for a long time. What actually happened during the parliamentary campaign of 5,11. It was about this that political analyst Mikhail Pogrebinsky said in the above-mentioned interview: it came out according to the principle “they wanted, as it was better, but it turned out, as always” - and the opposition gained the percentages it expected, and “Freedom” was put into the first echelon of the Ukrainian political party, turning it from regional and marginal political forces to national ones.
However, it cannot be excluded that Viktor Yanukovych and the ruling Party of Regions are playing a far more complicated and multi-pass political combination, implying the use of the “dark” party.
The “Freedom” obscurantism is fully capable of consolidating the incumbent’s voters on the eve of the 2015 election of the year.
Let's say more: against the background of the “national revival” and even the entry of Ukraine into the Customs Union against the background of the яг яг ни не не, the average, sensible Ukrainian will have no objections.
