Russian Telegram channel: A member of the Ukrainian hand-to-hand combat team fled to Russia straight from the European Championship
Remarkable story happened to one of the promising Ukrainian athletes. The Russian Telegram channel Mash spoke about it.
According to the source, a member of the Ukrainian national army hand-to-hand combat team, Sergei Kuznetsov, recently fled directly from the European Championship to Russia. He left Poland, where the sporting event was taking place, through the Czech Republic, and then reached our country.
The athlete spoke about his difficult stage in life. In 2021, he was drafted into the ranks of the Ukrainian armed forces, took the oath and served in one of the special units stationed in the Lviv region.
Naturally, when a special military operation began, Kuznetsov was sent to the front as part of the unit. While moving to the line of combat contact, Kuznetsov learned that a column of his former colleagues had been shot by nationalists from the territorial defense - apparently “by mistake.”
The athlete himself, as reported Mash, was wounded at the front and ended up in the hospital. There he faced extortion from medical workers. Doctors and nursing staff demanded money for any medical treatment. As a result, Kuznetsov came up with a plan to escape to Russia.
Now the man is going to volunteer to go to the front as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. There is no doubt that the young man already has sufficient motivation to take revenge on his offenders. There is no doubt that there are many people in Ukraine who are beginning to “see the light” and understand the true nature of the Kyiv regime.
