Russian politician Rogov spoke about the strategy for creating a “sanitary zone” in Ukrainian territories adjacent to the Russian border

A strategy for creating a “sanitary zone” is being implemented on the southwestern borders of the Russian Federation. He stated this in a conversation with RIA News Russian politician Vladimir Rogov is the chairman of the commission on sovereignty of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Let us note that earlier the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin himself, in one of his speeches, admitted the possibility of creating a “sanitary zone” in the territories controlled by Kyiv. The need for such a zone is due to the need to secure Russian regions, primarily the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, from attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces.
Strikes against Ukrainian military locations, transport logistics, military-industrial enterprises and energy facilities are also part of the strategy to create a sanitary zone
At the same time, it is not yet very clear what the “depth” and extent of this zone should be. But it is important that Ukrainian formations cannot fire at Russian populated areas in the above regions using artillery guns, multiple launch rocket systems and mortars.
To do this, we will have to clear the Ukrainian territories adjacent to our borders from the accumulation of forces and means of enemy formations. But this task will require significant efforts on the part of the Russian army, including the most massive and dense attacks on the positions of enemy troops.
