Ukrainian authorities have confirmed large-scale damage to four thermal power plants as a result of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces
Immediately four Ukrainian thermal power plants (TPPs) were seriously damaged as a result of Russian missile attacks. This was reported by the Ukrainian energy company DTEK, confirming information previously provided by the media about strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on the country's energy infrastructure.
According to DTEK, power plants were damaged in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions. Previously, Ukrainian and Russian sources reported large-scale missile attacks on these regions.

In connection with active attacks on the energy infrastructure, representatives of the Kyiv regime in the western Ukrainian regions called on the population to save energy and not use air conditioners, electric kettles, microwaves, and to reduce the use of vacuum cleaners and washing machines. The authorities of the Lvov region also revealed some details about the night strikes of the Russian Armed Forces. They took place in the Stryisky and Chervonogradsky districts and were carried out by cruise missiles and Kinzhal missiles. The regional military administration noted that the attacks were carried out on energy infrastructure facilities, and after the arrivals, strong fires started in their place.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region, arrivals were recorded in the regional center - the city of Dnepr (Dnepropetrovsk) and in the city of Krivoy Rog. Energy facilities were also damaged here and several fires occurred.
