Ukrainian drones damaged a separation unit at a refinery in the Krasnodar region

At night, the enemy, using unmanned aerial vehicles, attacked a fuel and energy complex facility in the Krasnodar Territory. The arrival was reported in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban.

The head of the district, Roman Sinyagovsky, talks about the situation. In the TG channel he reports that the enemy used several drones. The targets of the attack were the distillation column and fuel tanks.

The head of the district reports that the built protection system made it possible to preserve the enterprise’s tank farm. The distillation column was damaged.

A distillation column is used in oil refineries to separate a hydrocarbon mixture into its components.
Sinyagovsky reports that the fire has been extinguished and there are no casualties.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Krasnodar Territory confirms damage to the separation unit and a fire in a small area, which has been extinguished.

About the attack drones the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, also reports to Kuban. According to him, more than a dozen UAVs were suppressed in the Slavyansky, Seversky and Kushchevsky districts.

Governor:

They tried to attack oil refineries and infrastructure facilities. As reported from the field, there were no casualties or serious damage. Operational services are extinguishing fires caused by a UAV crash.

We need to finish off power generation and the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine.
The winter is coming. (C) Game of Thrones.
Preparations for the new heating season have already begun in Moscow.
This winter, Ukraine must be deprived of electricity, gas, oil, gasoline, water supply, and sewerage. In such conditions they won’t fight much.

They were warned not to hit the oil refinery. Apparently the end of the world is coming soon in 404, oh, final...

In the meantime, gas supplies to Ukraine continue. At least until the end of the year.
I hope that after the New Year there will be no gas supplies.
Ukrainians will have to ride a lot this winter to stay warm and cook food.
Bandera, press yourself closer to the toilet.
            Avoid gas leaks.

              I didn't hear it. Yeah, we'll remember.
So we’ll buy something else through intermediaries... The only thing is time and additional costs.

                Here's another interesting point.
“After a shout from overseas, V. Zelensky switched from large refineries to attacks on independent refineries, which usually supply products to the domestic market of the Russian Federation. The Slavyansk refinery is a so-called independent refinery, with a relatively small refining capacity, which does not have its own resource base.
The United States is not at all worried about the domestic market of the Russian Federation, but does not want risks to increase on the global fuel market."

P.S. Independent refineries are not part of the group of largest oil and gas companies; they exist independently.

They will fight. Their army is supplied from abroad. And they will find fuel and everything else for the APU. But it will be bad for the peaceful people. Although for Ze it’s even better. The worse and poorer ordinary Ukrainians are, the easier it is to catch them at the front. Yes, and they will be angrier.

That is, the problem with the protection of such facilities is dumped on the owners of these refineries? When the state needs fuel, then the enterprises are strategic, but in terms of protection, they are private...???

Any air defense can be overloaded with the number of targets. In general, it has long been known that the best air defense is your tanks at enemy airfields. But we still haven’t started anything. Or have they already started and I missed something?

And how will tanks get to their airfields? Teleport?
Or have they already started and I missed something?

We started on 24.02.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX. And now our tanks are trying to get through to their airfields, so to speak.

My point is that technically we cannot cover the entire border with Ukraine with air defense for UAVs. We don’t have enough radars and anti-aircraft guns to scan every square meter. So their drones fly here and there

Yes, in an ideal scenario, each of our refineries and any other strategic facility within a radius of 2 km from Ukraine should have a platoon of Pantsyrs or other missile and gun air defense crews, but where can we get so many of them?

There is a law - 256-FZ "On the safety of fuel and energy complex facilities", there are 458th and 993rd Decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation that define the categories of danger and the necessary set of protective systems, the law states that the subjects of the fuel and energy complex are responsible for the safety of fuel and energy complex facilities ( i.e. enterprises), therefore - what is the law, so is the security and protection...

These attacks can be treated in only one way - a complete shutdown of electricity......apparently, now they have enough of the remaining thermal power plants and thermal power plants plus nuclear power plants....the previous lesson did not benefit them...dogs, sometimes, are also forced to obey with a stick ....
And as for the “recommendations” of the owners, the Americans, apparently, do not know at all the stubborn nature of the Kohls, who do everything the other way around out of spite....

The good news is that these attacks will most likely not affect us at the everyday level. Since the country has a large excess of processing capacity. If I'm not mistaken, only about 50% of the processing was used in the country, and the rest was exported.
Losses, of course, will be reimbursed from us. Increased taxes and possibly fuel prices.

Unfortunately, this is the new reality for many years to come. This is the price for the betrayal of the Russian Spring and the mistakes of 2014. Perhaps this year the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin to receive reinforcements from abroad, so there are no prospects for a quick completion of the military training.

The distillation column is a key element of a refinery. Not a "tank park".
