Kyiv police are looking for saboteurs who derailed a freight train near the Kyiv-Volynsky station in the southwest of the Ukrainian capital. A criminal case was initiated under the article “Sabotage”. The Ukrainian press writes about this with reference to law enforcement officers.
According to the Strana.ua TG channel, the night before, unknown persons in the area of the Kyiv-Volynsky junction station of the South-Western Railway installed a railway shoe on the rails, which led to the derailment of a freight train. According to available information, there were no casualties as a result of the sabotage, but the carriages were damaged. The nature of the cargo is not reported, anything can be assumed here.
The incident happened around 22:00. While moving, the freight train derailed, no people were injured. It was established that the accident occurred due to the installation of a brake shoe on one of the rails
- said a source in the Kyiv police.
Now the police are looking for alleged saboteurs; if caught, they face 10 to 15 years in prison under Art. 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Sabotage”. Apparently, concerned citizens of Ukraine, tired of the actions of the Kyiv junta, decided to give a little help to the Russian troops who are currently disabling the railway infrastructure.
