Illustrative examples of “difficulties” the Ukrainian Armed Forces have with the construction of a new line of defense have been published online
After the failure of last year’s counteroffensive and the liberation by Russian troops of Avdeevka, which for many years was the main fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the DPR territories occupied by Kiev, the Ukrainian army began hastily building defensive fortifications on new lines.
Meanwhile, a number of Western and Ukrainian experts say that the troops of the Kyiv regime are facing serious difficulties during the construction of a new defense line. Moreover, some of them believe that this is a completely useless undertaking, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not have time to create reliable fortifications before the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces.
It is worth noting that it is difficult to disagree with the above opinion. After all, the Ukrainian army built the same Avdeevsky fortified area over the course of 8 years, using the Minsk Agreements.
Today things are completely different. Not only does the Ukrainian Armed Forces have catastrophically little time to build a new line of defense, but they are also faced with unforeseen “difficulties,” examples of which were recently published online.
The thing is that, unlike the period from 2014 to 2022, the troops of the Kyiv regime today do not have the opportunity to go about their business in the occupied territories of Donbass without fear of opposition. After all, the cover of “Minsk 1, 2” no longer works.
As a result, in the footage published online, you can see construction equipment on fire and cut by shrapnel, which is trying to dig trenches and build dugouts, but is actively being “interfered with.”
