Illustrative examples of “difficulties” the Ukrainian Armed Forces have with the construction of a new line of defense have been published online

After the failure of last year’s counteroffensive and the liberation by Russian troops of Avdeevka, which for many years was the main fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the DPR territories occupied by Kiev, the Ukrainian army began hastily building defensive fortifications on new lines.

Meanwhile, a number of Western and Ukrainian experts say that the troops of the Kyiv regime are facing serious difficulties during the construction of a new defense line. Moreover, some of them believe that this is a completely useless undertaking, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not have time to create reliable fortifications before the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces.

It is worth noting that it is difficult to disagree with the above opinion. After all, the Ukrainian army built the same Avdeevsky fortified area over the course of 8 years, using the Minsk Agreements.

Today things are completely different. Not only does the Ukrainian Armed Forces have catastrophically little time to build a new line of defense, but they are also faced with unforeseen “difficulties,” examples of which were recently published online.

The thing is that, unlike the period from 2014 to 2022, the troops of the Kyiv regime today do not have the opportunity to go about their business in the occupied territories of Donbass without fear of opposition. After all, the cover of “Minsk 1, 2” no longer works.

As a result, in the footage published online, you can see construction equipment on fire and cut by shrapnel, which is trying to dig trenches and build dugouts, but is actively being “interfered with.”

Meanwhile, the difficulties of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are growing like a snowball. The Russian army has occupied Solovyevo: a large group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is under threat of encirclement.

The offensive of Russian troops continues in the Avdeevsky direction after the breakthrough at Ocheretino. News from DeepState indicates progress in the village of Solovyevo south of Ocheretino, as well as traffic between these settlements.

According to DeepState, Solovyevo appears to be one-third occupied by the Russian Armed Forces. Russian sources claim that almost all of Solovyevo up to the southwestern outskirts is already under their control. Blogger Anatoly Shariy also confirms the occupation of the village by Russian troops.

“It is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreated from the settlement. Solovevo. Movement towards Pokrovsk...” writes Shariy.

The Ukrainian military did not confirm this information.

Movements in the area of Solovyevo and neighboring Novomakhmutovka pose a threat to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Berdychi, which can be bypassed from the north-west. This direction can be used to maneuver to the south and attempt to encircle the territories west of Avdiivka, including the Umansky area and reservoirs where Ukrainian troops are now building a new line of defense. After the breakthrough at Ocheretino, which Ukrainian forces have not yet been able to stop, there is a threat that Russian troops could break through to the rear of this line.

A very promising breakthrough near Ocheretino. If the flanks are secured, the breakthrough can become operational, as at Popasnaya. good

Novokalinovka was practically occupied, the 47th brigade was knocked out of Solovyevo (you can’t fight under FAB for long), so the flanks are already secured. Ocheretino is generally something masterpiece and completely unexpected. good

There, in Ocheretino, the northern and western outskirts have not yet been cleared. In addition, from Arkhangelsk to the north, artillery fire is being fired and drone raids are being carried out. There is still a long way to go before achieving success.

      By the way ...

I do not exclude at all that behind the levers of this “construction equipment” of the Kyiv Bandera-Nazis there may also be seconded “volunteer builders” from the engineering units of the Wehrmacht (formerly the so-called “Bundeswehr”...). And Eng. units of other NATO tobacco companies...

Of course, they know better, but we can definitely say that they cannot build such a line as we created in our time. And it’s good that blows are carried out periodically, disabling construction equipment.

if they build within reach of cheap funds, then the construction equipment is destroyed

who said it would be easy? The Ukrainians probably thought that they would be able to build defensive fortifications under the noses of the Russian Armed Forces, but the Russians did not agree with them.

The barn burned down and so did the hut. The big-haired gang does not deviate from the plan to leave the ashes in place of Donbass, retreat beyond the Dnieper and from there make mischief from a long range in all directions.

you can see construction equipment burning and cut by shrapnel

Fans of stupid questions, such as “Yanipanimayupachimu, you can’t destroy all the construction equipment,” have finally received an answer.
Whining is expected about the fact that not all the equipment was destroyed and the pachima could not have been done earlier...

Oh, how good it is with construction equipment. When videos began to appear of dill happily digging trenches and setting up pyramids, the question immediately arose that this was a good target for our drones, and that’s how it is. Nice.

The bottom photo shows traces of shrapnel. It looks like something larger than a drone has landed there.

This is not armored equipment, it’s perfect for cluster munitions. It won’t be able to save hard workers and try to restore the equipment after covering it.

If the submunitions are cumulative fragmentation, as most of the Americans have, then even the armored vehicles will not survive there.

No, I mean cheaper ones, for example, Tornado S or U missiles, there are a lot of balls or darts in the containers, the best thing for non-armored vehicles, and if the range allows, then a 152mm projectile

It's possible there too. If Israel has a 120-mm cluster mine, and we had information about something similar for Nona, then adapting it for Tornado will not be a problem.

The mine most likely won’t have the range; it’s unlikely that new defense lines will be built closer than 20 km, but yes, this is most likely the cheapest means
