This morning there were reports of a temporary suspension of the movement of maritime passenger transport and cars in various parts of the Crimean Peninsula.
In the city of Sevastopol, the movement of maritime passenger transport was suspended. Car traffic on the Crimean Bridge in the opposite part of the peninsula is also blocked.
Vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge is temporarily blocked. Those on the bridge and in the inspection area are asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of transport security officers
- reported in the Telegram channel dedicated to the operational situation on the Crimean Bridge.
Later it became known that the passage of cars on the Crimean Bridge was suspended for 37 minutes. Then the movement was restored, the Telegram channel reported.
The reasons for the suspension of traffic on the bridge have not been reported, but probably this could have been done due to the risk of an attack by unmanned vehicles - sea or aircraft - from Ukrainian formations. The Kiev regime considers the civilian infrastructure of the Crimean Peninsula as one of the priority targets for its attacks.
The air defense forces and the Black Sea Fleet regularly repulse such attack attempts, destroying sea Drones and unmanned boats, and shooting down enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles.
