SBU detained the abbot of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, Metropolitan Arseniy of the UOC

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the abbot of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, Metropolitan of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church Arseniy. Searches are currently being carried out in the monastery itself.

The UOC-affiliated publication "Union of Orthodox Journalists", citing its sources, reports that the metropolitan was taken for interrogation to the city of Slavyansk occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from where the priest is planned to be taken to Dnepropetrovsk, where a court hearing will take place and a decision will be made. What the clergyman of the canonical Orthodox Church is accused of is currently not reported.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian police and SBU blocked buses and cars with pilgrims heading to the Svyatogorsk Lavra to participate in the feast of the Council of All Reverend Fathers, who shone in the Holy Mountains on the Donets.

In Ukraine, repressions against priests and parishioners of the canonical Orthodox Church continue. Churches of the UOC are being seized everywhere, and priests and monks are being arrested on charges of allegedly collaborating with Russia. Thus, the Kiev regime seeks to strengthen its influence in the territories remaining under Zelensky’s control, essentially destroying canonical Orthodoxy in Ukraine and replacing it with a specially created schismatic OCU, completely loyal to the Nazi Russophobic ideology diligently implanted in this country.

“Repressions against priests and parishioners of the canonical Orthodox Church continue in Ukraine” -

    - “Remember the word that I said to you: If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also.”...

It’s just not at all clear which believers of which denomination Christ was addressing! Who will be persecuted? Everyone in a row? laughing

Against the background of oppression, abuse and other savages and crimes against the Russian Federation, the Russian Orthodox Church, in Siberia we have Uniates with icons of Bandera and the like.
How is that. Liberals, tolerants, are probably rejoicing at the triumph of shit democracy

Are you in Siberia? If there, then let me ask you specifically why
In Siberia we have Uniates with icons of Bandera and the like
why aren't you doing anything? If you are not from there, the question is of course not for you, the question is for the authorities and residents of those places.

Yesterday there was an article about this Uniatism and icons. Here, that means, in Russia, in Siberia. That's what I wanted to say

It is clear and accepted, the question then was definitely not for you, my comment was that a lot depends on specific people on the ground, their position should not be amorphous, something also needs to be done, water does not flow under a lying stone.

It would be better if, of course, they immediately wrote in the title of that article that he was a Nazi, a Uniate, and not just a priest. I assumed that this one was preaching among the remnants of the Banderaites exiled there. It is not clear why we do not have a ban on Uniatism, like extremism and Nazism?

So what are you doing? For extremism and Nazism there is! But Uniatism is simply one of the branches of Christianity. No worse and no better than others.

Quite a few Siberians are fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against Russia. This is the work of the Greek Catholic Church. The Church worshiped Hitler during World War II. Now, to Bandera, Shukhevych and other Nazi rabble. God is a secondary thing for them. The primary thing is Nazi crap and the Pope.
The Greek Catholic Church is the ideological enemy in the rear of our troops. Blesses the warriors for the fight against Russia. It was a crime to allow this church in Russia. By the way, there are no Greek Catholic churches in Donbass and never have been.

The UOC, like the OCU, is a revolutionary squalor, born of self-seizure and betrayal of the Russian Orthodox Church. The phenomenon itself devours itself from its tail, such is the nature of betrayal and there is no point in feeling sorry or sympathizing.

And I feel sorry for Arseny. This one didn’t submit, and that’s why they’re persecuting him. He's an old man. Will it hold up? Orthodox journalists stood up for him. And they, too, are persecuted and thrown into prison for treason... Recently, Russia rescued one from prison. Yan Taxyur. He is in the final stages of cancer. At least he will die free.

Not everyone in the UOC submitted. Arseny from the unconquered. And Onufriy betrayed the UOC Romanians. . That’s why they did this, to nominate a person who does not represent the population and has nothing to do with the main population. He easily and simply betrayed this population. There are already killed priests there. Don't judge from the inside out. There is also a battle going on there. Not for life, but for death.

Yesterday there was news that a priest was detained in Siberia on suspicion of promoting Bandera ideas. The reason for the detention was the Ukrainian nationalist and war criminal Stepan Bandera and his henchmen Roman Shukhevych, Joseph Slipoy and other accomplices of the Nazi occupiers, depicted on the icon, which was publicly shown to parishioners by the clergyman of one of the churches in Omsk.

It turned out that the temple belongs to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic (Uniate) Church. And this priest in his sermons promoted the ideas of the superiority of Ukrainians over other peoples, as well as his religion over others.

A criminal case was opened against the detained citizen on suspicion of rehabilitation of Nazism and insulting the feelings of believers in places of worship.

        1. I thank those who are fighting there, no matter what.
        2. About Strelkov - remember Bezler’s opinion about him.
        3. Svyatogorsk is Svyatogorsk. They took him, they left him.
PS: if you are looking for cause-and-effect relationships, look at least to the death of Stalin in 1953 and the collapse of the USSR in 1991.
