The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation announced the need to eliminate the imbalance in the salaries of military personnel guarding the border with Ukraine

Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, during his speech with the annual report at the Federation Council, voiced a number of proposals relating to the social sphere of our country.

In particular, the official called for establishing a monthly pension payment in new regions due to the impossibility of recalculating for some new Russian citizens. There was also a proposal to oblige housing developers to provide parking spaces in their yards and much more.

Some of Krasnov's proposals also concerned Russian military personnel. In particular, he believes that the imbalance in the salaries of military personnel guarding the border with Ukraine should be eliminated.

It is worth noting that this position of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation is absolutely justified. Today, the salaries of border guards are lower than those of SVO participants. At the same time, the military guarding the state cordon are exposed to no less danger than the participants in the special operation.

Let us recall that since the beginning of this year, militant units supervised by the Main Intelligence Directorate and the SBU have increased their efforts manifold in terms of attempts to break into the territory of the border Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions. At the same time, Russian border guards take an active part in repelling enemy attacks.

Thus, it is not entirely clear why servicemen of the FSB of Russia are still not equal to combatants with the corresponding benefits and salaries.

It is worth adding that some military officers have already responded to Krasnov’s words.
