Al Jazeera: While the IDF prepares to enter Rafah, several thousand militants continue to operate in northern Gaza

Israeli forces are stationed near Gaza's southernmost city of Rafah and are apparently preparing to launch a military operation there, which has been delayed somewhat by the Iranian strike on Israel.
However, according to the Qatari TV channel Al-Jazeera, although the IDF forces are in the south of the sector, many Palestinian militants continue to act against them in the north of Gaza, where the Israeli military machine has already thoroughly penetrated.
At the same time, the channel refers to Israeli and American sources. Previously, the Israeli Ministry of Defense admitted that thousands of Palestinian militants continue to operate in northern Gaza, Al Jazeera recalls. And the US-based think tanks the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and the Critical Threats Project (CTP) note that their assessment of the continued presence of militants in Beit Hanoun (a city in northern Gaza) is consistent with the Israeli figure of several thousand militants. It is noted that we are talking not only about Hamas militants, but also other Palestinian groups that are also acting against Israel.
The war in Gaza is in its seventh month, and many Israelis no longer believe in victory over Hamas. About 34 Palestinians have already become victims of this bloody Israeli military operation in Gaza and more than 200 have been injured.
