Quantum processors as future universal keys to instantly solving any cipher

Quantum computers will certainly be a new breakthrough era in the field of computing. Such devices are already available to scientists in several countries around the world.

Russia also has its own quantum processor. What the computer of the future is already capable of, said a researcher at the Lebedev Physical Institute laboratory. Lebedev RAS Ilya Semerikov.

According to the scientist, the quantum processor can easily cope with decomposing a number into prime factors, which is a complex algorithmic task that is labor-intensive even for the most powerful modern PCs.

As the scientist put it, this is important, since this is the principle on which most modern encryption algorithms work. Therefore, in the future, quantum computers will be able to instantly solve any cipher.

The algorithm for the above operation has already been invented at the Russian Quantum Center. In turn, Semerikov launched it on the quantum processor of the Lebedev Physical Institute.

As a result, during the test, the latter factored the number 1591 into prime factors.

It is worth noting that modern ciphers use numbers of 2 thousand characters in length. 1591 is only four characters. However, a start has already been made in our country towards the creation of a universal key, which in the future will be able to solve any cipher.

This is not about me - I’m still at work (since evening) sad crying

I know my job and do it and don’t do things at work that I can’t leave at any second.

Historically, the first Storyteller was Richard Feyman (he headed the Manhattan Project). He was the first to show the limits of conventional computers in matters of simulation. Please tell me, can military affairs develop without simulations (and most importantly, without simulators)?
      Sincerely

Judging by what Vika writes about him, he was an eternal theorist, i.e. exactly a storyteller.

And this is the business of parquet generals who studied from old textbooks and, having received their stars, sit and get bored at headquarters. They missed the unmanned devices and didn’t read anything about their proposals for the protection of military personnel, military equipment and structures!
        Something like this.

Have you heard about the Manhattan Project? Don't remember what happened as a result?
What about Feynman diagrams in a university physics course? About quantum electrodynamics and quantum chromodynamics?

Quantum computers are definitely will become a new, breakthrough era in Computing. Such devices are already available to scientists in several countries around the world.

As soon as Russian managers put their raking little hands into breakthrough technologies, there are more holes in the budget, and breakthroughs have long been reminiscent of Trishkin’s caftan...

Now I’m old, and most importantly, I’ve lost my incentive and passion. But, using certain fundamental properties of Numbers, it was discovered that the larger the arrays of Numbers, the easier it is to detect regular distributions. The Natural Series of Numbers, like magic, always reveals patterns with increasing data. Once upon a time, about twenty years ago, I wondered how the natural series of Numbers of nine numbers differs from a series with a large value of Numbers. Therefore, I will note one important aspect that large arrays of Numbers must process it optimally from an energy point of view, and certainly not in the equivalent of one Number value - one electromagnetic pulse.

Young people will not understand that age has the advantage of making a person more tolerant and humble to various kinds of attacks. But this is not the main thing. The main thing is that hardly anyone is thinking about multipolar logic on all numbers in the nat series. Moreover, how to express an electric magnetic impulse with a direct value of a number from the nat series. But few people understand that the same quantum machines actually work on just binary logic, and not on logic built on numbers in the nat series. Therefore, scientists have not come close to AI built on the analysis of variable and optimized processes.

Quantum processors as future universal keys to instantly solving any cipher

Not any cipher, but only modern ones with a public key. The United States has long been switching to post-quantum cryptography, which quantum computers do not accept. hi
