Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: Eight enemy drones were neutralized on Russian territory last night
Despite the constant losses of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Ukraine persistently continues its attempts to attack targets on Russian territory with them.
According to a message from the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram, last night Drones enemy aircraft attacked four regions of Russia close to the border - Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh and Smolensk regions.
However, the enemy UAVs were neutralized by air defense systems on duty, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted. A total of eight were destroyed and intercepted. drones - three in the Kursk region, two each in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions and one in the Smolensk region.
Since the beginning of the conflict, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian side has lost more than 22630 unmanned aerial vehicles.
However, attacks continue, and a significant part of them occur in the Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions. To a lesser extent, but with a certain regularity, enemy drones appear in the skies over the Rostov, Voronezh, Smolensk regions and Krasnodar Territory. They sometimes fly to more remote regions of the country.
It is worth noting that in addition to foreign-made UAVs coming to Ukraine, they have also established the production of their own drones.
