Russian Embassy in Great Britain: Aid to Ukraine will sink into a “black hole”
14
The West is trying to change the battlefield situation in the Ukrainian conflict zone by providing new financial and military assistance to Ukraine. But this can be of little help, says the Russian Embassy in the UK.
The Russian diplomatic mission in London calls the new military assistance to the Kyiv regime from Western countries an “attempt by losing popularity” politicians to improve their image. In addition, the same Great Britain is trying to change the situation in the conflict zone, but this is no longer possible.
The funds will irrevocably sink into the “black hole”, but they could be used to combat real problems
- states the Russian embassy in Great Britain.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called not to forget about Ukraine in connection with events in the Middle East. According to the British Prime Minister, the tense situation in the Gaza Strip cannot be an argument for refusing assistance to Kyiv.
The head of the British government, during his visit to Poland, also promised to support Ukraine in the future - as long as Kyiv feels the need for such assistance. However, it is difficult to disagree with Russian diplomats: for more than two years of conflict, Western weapons have failed to help the Ukrainian regime at the front. Now a significant part of the air defense systems transferred to Kyiv by the West has already been destroyed, for example.
