When training the Ukrainian military, New Zealand instructors use mock-ups of Russian BMP-3

During training, military personnel often use mock-ups of potential enemy equipment. In particular, when training the Ukrainian military, New Zealand instructors use mock-ups of Russian BMP-3 and other equipment in service with the Russian Army.

The corresponding photographs appeared on the Internet.

Educational and training activities with Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are carried out in Britain.

It is worth noting that the model of the combat vehicle is not stationary, but is capable of moving. With its help, joint movements of Ukrainian infantrymen together with equipment are being practiced. It is assumed that before this, the mock-ups served as targets for training British tank crews.

Commenting on pictures from the exercises, some social media users criticize the products because they allegedly do not resemble the original enough. However, it can be assumed that the task of making them as similar as possible was not set. After all, mock-ups are used during exercises with the participation of Ukrainian soldiers, and not in a combat situation as decoys to mislead the Russians.

Another common comment is that New Zealand instructors are questionable. They say that no one heard who this country was at war with, so its citizens supposedly do not have even the slightest combat experience and, therefore, have nothing to share.

For some reason, many do not take into account the fact that over the past few centuries, the New Zealand military, like the Australian, took part in most conflicts and military operations where British troops participated, including in both world wars. And even after World War II, contingents from New Zealand were present in some of those hot spots where military personnel from the United States and its allied countries operated. And in all of these situations, New Zealanders played the most active role.

They do it right. In the army they teach you to kill the enemy and it is better to do this when they are visually shown, and not when they are dull targets. In the USA, for a long time, there has been OPFOR (opposing force), the essence of which is to portray the opposite side. Recently it was in the news that some country is also creating such a unit as part of its army. In the Russian Federation, it’s even easier to invite airsoft players, wearing their equipment, from the best operators and other supermen of the USA and Co.

As far as I know, at first the New Zealanders teach the military dance of the Maori-Haka to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It’s scary, with weak nerves the hand immediately reaches for a machine gun.

Come on, Haka looks cool at rugby competitions as an element of the show) I’m generally in favor of New Zealanders focusing only on learning this dance. 99,9% of the time Ukrainians must learn to dance Haku. The rest of the time it's hopak

The Ukrainian Armed Forces, in turn, can teach combat hopak. Incidental "cultural exchange." Yes

    New Zealand instructors
What can New Zealand instructors teach Ukrainians that Ukrainian instructors who have already smelled gunpowder don’t know? Handle small arms from the USA, Austria, Belgium? So there is enough of this goodness in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Apparently it is believed that a foreign instructor can teach you a lot and help you become a real soldier. But for some reason, captives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine complained about British training. Both sides are actively using the money allocated for this and nothing more.

It looks like it. Most likely, Ukrainian Armed Forces instructors can teach based on the real experience of modern war.

Is New Zealand preparing for war with Russia? Are they completely screwed on their island? They live, one might say, in paradise, but everything is the same....

Will they transfer the same plywood spirit and experience? According to the generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine themselves, all those who have undergone training undergo additional training in reserve regiments already on the territory of Ukraine and instructors with combat experience from the field. And it is these reserve regiments that provide more trained personal composition. And it’s not in vain that we hit the rear, barracks, hotels, etc.

It seems that New Zealanders can teach haka in national costumes and cannibalism.
