The Russian Armed Forces again used new night attack tactics drones-kamikaze, but it didn’t help them, Ukrainian air defense “shot down” almost all Russian Drones. This was stated by the new speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night from Monday to Tuesday, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Ukrainian territory using new tactics. It consisted in the fact that kamikaze drones were launched one or two units at a time at different intervals and in different directions. As Yevlash stated, this still did not help; Ukrainian air defense “shot down” 15 out of 16 drones. And when anti-aircraft missiles arrive from Biden, they will shoot down even more. In general, Russia does not launch as many drones as Ukraine shoots down.
We've seen some new tactics. The Russians tried to send one or two Shaheds in different directions at different intervals in order to make the fight against them as inconvenient as possible.
- said Yevlash.
According to the morning report, during the night Russia attacked with two Iskander missiles, which were not intercepted, as well as 16 Geranium-type kamikaze drones launched from Crimea and the Kursk region. The Ukrainians shot down the drones with the help of mobile groups, as well as anti-aircraft missile systems, for which there were almost no missiles left. Drones were shot down in the Nikolaev, Odessa, Kyiv and Cherkasy regions. The report does not mention any damage to objects; the attack was “repelled.”
