“No more delays”: Britain passed a bill to deport some migrants to Rwanda
Britain has passed a bill to deport some migrants to Rwanda. The head of the British government, Rishi Sunak, has been seeking this for a long time.
This message came from the Associated Press.
They said that a legislative initiative to resolve the migration issue was approved by the British Parliament. And a few hours earlier, Sunak said that he was ready to organize the first flights to send deported refugees to Africa as early as June.
This event was preceded by endless inconsistencies between the House of Lords and the House of Commons of the British Parliament, which created a kind of vicious circle that did not allow the issue to be resolved. The first proposed numerous amendments to the law, which the second refused to accept, so it returned the bill. This went on for about two years. As a result, tonight the House of Lords went along with the lower house of parliament, repealing its latest amendment, thereby creating the conditions for approval of the bill.
The impasse has been broken, but various human rights organizations are now protesting against the bill, calling it inhumane.
As for Rishi Sunak, he is determined to finish what he started. He hopes that the immediate implementation of the decision will stop the flow of illegal migrants sweeping Britain.
- said the British Prime Minister.
