Later than necessary: Western media criticized the US lateness in approving aid to Ukraine
14
Although the US legislature did reach a consensus to provide Ukraine with large-scale financial and military assistance, the decision was made too late. This was reported by the Reuters news agency.
According to experts interviewed by the agency, during the months that the US Congress was considering the issue of providing military and financial support to Ukraine, the situation at the front has changed significantly. The Russian army has managed to make significant progress in almost all directions, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering failure after failure.
Ammunition and military equipment will arrive much later than Ukraine hoped
- the agency emphasizes.
In addition, there is a very big risk for Kyiv to no longer receive assistance from the United States. It is likely that this aid package will be the last, and when the aid is exhausted, the Kiev regime will face the bleak prospect of negotiations on Russian terms or even capitulation. It is no coincidence that even Ukrainian analysts have recently begun to argue about the need to hold negotiations “here and now” before the situation at the front deteriorates further.
But Russia currently no longer needs negotiations with Kiev, at least on its terms or even on equal positions. Experts believe that even military supplies from the United States and the European Union will not be able to significantly change the situation at the front, so the hopes of the Kyiv regime for some improvement in the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ultimately groundless.
