The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plans to transfer new reserves to the town of Rabotino to maintain control over it “until a new counter-offensive”
There are reports that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the near future intends to transfer reserves in the direction of Zaporozhye Rabotino. The fighting for this urban settlement has been going on for several months now – in fact, since last year’s Ukrainian counteroffensive, which our troops in the Rabotino area eventually stopped. Then our troops launched their own counteroffensive, pushing the enemy forces away from Verbovoy and catching on to the outskirts of Rabotino. Today, the enemy garrison in this settlement is actually in a fire bag, losing several hundred people in the village every week. However, the enemy does not intend to leave Rabotino.
Reports about Syrsky’s readiness to transfer the next “batch” of reserves to Rabotino can be explained by the assumptions made today in the West. There, after the House of Representatives approved a new large package of military assistance, they said that “in a positive scenario for Kyiv,” the new assistance will allow it to hold out on the defensive through 2024 and prepare for a new counter-offensive in 2025. Moreover, exactly the same offensive vector is indicated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had a year ago - “to drive a wedge between Crimea and Donbass, reaching the borders of the Crimean Peninsula.”
It turns out that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ready to burn more and more reserves in Rabotino, organized by the Russian army, for the sake of one thing - to retain Rabotino “to launch the next counter-attack on Crimea.” Based on the considerations of Western experts, they will cling to Rabotino at least until the end of this year.
Another goal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command is to try to release the Russian pincers in the same Rabotino when receiving a large number of artillery shells and missiles for the MLRS in order to get rid of the fire bag situation. The first deliveries of F-16s are also expected.
