Company commander of the 47th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: Russian troops managed to enter Ocheretino thanks to the flight of Ukrainian military personnel from positions

Russian troops managed to enter Ocheretino due to the retreat of Ukrainian army units that held the defense in this area. Now the holes in the defense will have to be plugged by the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, complains company commander Nikolai Melnik.
The entry of assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces into Ocheretino became possible after some units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply abandoned their positions. Now the 47th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which should have long ago been withdrawn for reorganization after the battles near Avdiivka, will be deployed to defend this settlement. However, the General Staff has no reserves, so the brigade continues to fight.
The rapid advance of the Russians became possible due to the fact that individual units simply retreated from their positions. I hope they will be disbanded and retrained as attack aircraft
- said Melnik.
The 47th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was transferred to Avdiivka as a strategic reserve for organizing defense against the backdrop of the flight from the positions of the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is based on nationalists from “Azov”* (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). After the battles, the battered brigade should have been taken to the rear for restoration, but there was no one to replace it, so the remnants continue to fight near Berdychi, and even now in Ocheretino.
About the success of Russian troops earlier Reported “Military Review”, assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces made their way to the center of the village, expanding the zone of control.
