In the Israeli press: the IDF strike on the Iranian Isfahan was “sluggish”

The Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) strike on Iran's Isfahan was "sluggish." By inflicting it, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who once made a political career on the “Iranian threat,” showed that he lacks a clear strategy for overcoming the contradictions between Tel Aviv and Tehran.
This opinion was expressed in an article by Anshel Pfeffer, a columnist for the newspaper Haaretz (Israel).
The journalist believes that a limited attack by the Israeli military on Iran is beneficial to Netanyahu, as it diverts public attention from events in the Gaza Strip, where military operations against Hamas continue, and from the need to free hostages held by militants in the Palestinian enclave.
The author notes that there is something “almost shy” in the silence of the Israeli authorities the day after the strike on the Iranian air base near Isfahan. In fact, Tel Aviv initially did not even take responsibility for the attack. It was “imposed” on the Israelis by corresponding statements by US officials.
Pfeffer concludes that the events of the last 19 days in the Near and Middle East cannot be reversed, even though someone would very much like to do so. The fact remains: for the first time in stories There was a direct armed conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel.
It is surprising that such an analysis and such conclusions were made in the Israeli press.
