The Russian Armed Forces intensified strikes against the Ukrainian Armed Forces RBK-500 in response to Ukraine's use of American cluster munitions
The Russian army is increasingly striking at positions of Ukrainian forces using RBK-500 cluster munitions. This follows from reports from Russian military sources showing footage of the use of RBK-500 at the locations of Ukrainian positions.
The use of the RBK-500 by our units was a worthy response to the actions of the Ukrainian troops, who began using cluster munitions much earlier. At one time, representatives of the Kyiv regime were very happy about the cluster munitions supplied from the United States. For some reason, they did not imagine that Russia could begin to use such bombs and shells at the front.
Now, perhaps, an epiphany is beginning to come to Ukrainian military commanders and political leaders. The Russian army has large reserves of such ammunition, so attacks on Ukrainian positions can be carried out frequently with their help, and this has already caused plenty of problems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As you know, the RBK-500 is a cluster bomb that entered service with the USSR Air Force back in 1987. One RBK-500 cassette can hold 15 Motiv-3 or Motiv-3M anti-tank ammunition. At a certain height the cassette opens. After this, the submunitions are dispersed.
As a result, with the help of cluster bombs it is possible to achieve an impressive result in terms of defeating enemy personnel in a certain territory. Such bombs show their high effectiveness in deterring enemy offensive actions or carrying out rotations, as well as in destroying enemy infantry positions over a fairly impressive area.
