The Australian Navy showed a prototype of the autonomous underwater vehicle Ghost Shark

Anduril Industries company together with Australian fleet showed the first prototype of the autonomous vehicle Ghost Shark (“Ghost Shark”), which belongs to the XL-AUV category - ultra-large underwater robotic products.

The project is under a 2022 $90 million agreement and is said to be ahead of schedule and within current budget. A total of 42 enterprises are involved in the program. At this stage, the Australians’ goal is to design and build three drone for three years.

The Australian Navy intends, in the form of Ghost Shark, to receive a long-range multifunctional underwater vehicle designed to solve a wide range of tasks, in particular, uninterrupted reconnaissance, provide target designation and strikes.

The system being developed is intended both for the Royal Australian Navy and to meet the needs of foreign customers. At the same time, it can solve not only military, but also civilian problems. It is quite possible that one of the first users of Ghost Shark will be the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who have relied on autonomous vehicles in the confrontation in the Black Sea due to the lack of traditional naval forces.

Are you sure that dill is not found in Australia? And it looks very much like someone again welded two garbage containers in the place and pilfered the money into their pockets.

There may well be. There, too, after the Second World War, all sorts of undead people rushed to hide.

No matter how it is directed against our floating nuclear power plants....

It is quite possible that one of the first users of Ghost Shark will be the Armed Forces of Ukraine

If such devices actually get into the Armed Forces of Ukraine (I don’t really believe it), this will lead to the closure of all navigation in the eastern part of the Black Sea and the Kerch Strait zone; bribes from an automatic device are smooth if it strikes a civilian. Technical error. That is, they will declare it a war zone.

It’s just not clear how this crap will strike? If only with a ram. Although in appearance, this is clearly not a disposable kamikaze drone.
Again, three pieces in three years - with such a production rate, Ukraine is unlikely to have time to use the next wunderwaffle.

Most likely, the cap for releasing torpedoes will open in the bow. Judging by the rivets. IHMO.
The idea of a device is not bad, to give such devices to your proxies for striking the enemy with whom you are afraid to go to war. We have no time for them yet, but if only we could give the Houthis enough to destroy a couple of aircraft carriers.

These underwater drones are clearly not for the Black Sea - they are a weapon against China and other countries from the southern seas.

The sea powers were seriously excited. It's time for the North Koreans to hand over the Poseidons. We ourselves cannot use them YET. However, they themselves have similar devices on the way.

En regardant ce drone cela me donne une impression de "bricolage" , il yat il réellement quelque chose sous ces plaque boulonnées ( ou rivetées ?) ?

Unfortunately, the article says nothing about the purpose of the device, power plant, displacement, basing system and support for operations?

Nothing... It’s just that the author of the article was not very concerned about the quality of the translation. And the tasks of this product are as follows: “Such an underwater complex will be able to solve a wide range of tasks related to patrolling and illuminating the underwater situation. It will have to conduct various deep-sea research, carry out reconnaissance and monitor the activities of third countries, etc. Also the Ghost Shark AUV will be able to strengthen existing mine and anti-submarine defense systems." In short... - no "blows".

By the way..., here is an article, everything about “these things” is written there: https://s30116489994.mirtesen.ru/blog/43924732262/Dive-LD-i-Ghost-Shark-Tyazhelyie-ANPA-dlya-VMS- Avstralii winked

I wonder if Australia is on the list for roasting on Judgment Day? If not, then there is a reason to add.
