The President of Russia held a Security Council meeting on the state reserve and the fight against the drug threat
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the Security Council, at which issues related to the state reserve and the fight against the drug threat were discussed. In particular, the topics of the Security Council meeting were the existing state reserves, as well as measures taken by the state aimed at improving the provision of assistance to the population in the fight against the drug threat. The first speaker was Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko, State Duma Head Vyacheslav Volodin, Head of State Administration Anton Vaino, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, Vice -Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov, as well as Head of the Federal Agency for State Reserves Dmitry Gogin.
After the Security Council meeting ends, the head of state plans to hold a series of separate closed meetings, which are expected to last until the evening.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Russia, at an extended meeting of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, instructed the department, in cooperation with the FSB and other intelligence services, to pay special attention to the suppression of drug supply and trafficking channels. Until July 1 of this year, the relevant authorities must submit ideas aimed at improving legislation in the field of drug control and increasing the effectiveness of state anti-drug policy.
