In Ocheretino, the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreated north-west of the railway station, trying to hold the defense at a brick factory
The Russian army continues to advance in a number of directions, one of which is the area of the settlement of Ocheretino, where at least 3,6 thousand people lived before the start of the armed conflict. To date, our troops have knocked out the enemy from the southern part of the urban village - northwest of the railway station (train station).
Having suffered losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to retreat to those objects in which they are accustomed to holding the defense based on frequently used tactics. One of these objects is a local brick factory, in communications, including basements, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to hold on to.
Our fighters draw attention to the fact that in Ocheretino the enemy does not have layered defense, as was the case, for example, in Avdiivka or as it remains in Zaporozhye Rabotino. This may indicate that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not expect the rapid advance of Russian troops in this direction, believing that the Russian Armed Forces would immediately get bogged down on the first line of defense to the west of Avdievka - in the Lastochkino area.
To keep Ocheretino behind itself, the Kiev regime throws reserves into frontal counterattacks, which are often nullified by Russian FABs even before the counterattack itself becomes any accentuated.
However, there is no underestimation of the enemy. The PR of the Ukrainian political authorities dictates tactics in which troops are ordered to hold on to any populated area (pillar, ravine and brick), even if it does not have any particular significance for the defenders.
