If a friend suddenly turns up... Stop hoping for the nobility of other countries

It is quite strange for me that we are only now talking about the anti-Russian actions of neighboring Kazakhstan.

On the one hand, it is clear that we do not want to offend our neighbors. We hope that the brain will turn on, and the example of our other neighbors will show us the right path to the prosperity of the country.

On the other hand, I know the mentality of the Kazakhs very well, I live side by side with them. Strength is respected there. If you are strong and able to stand up for yourself, you will always be respected. I don't know why this happened. Probably because Kazakhs have always lived separately, with their own families. They relied only on themselves. Respect for strength is there at the level historical memory.

When there was a coup attempt and Russia showed strength, we were respected. But when we allow our neighbors to treat us as equals, to demand something from us, we lose this respect. For the first time I realized that they stopped respecting us back in the days of Nursultan Nazarbayev. It was then, in 2017, that a car with Latin license plates parked in my yard for the first time... I still remember the argument of the Kazakh president: “All the advanced countries of the world use the Latin alphabet, so it is advisable for Kazakhstan to switch to the Latin alphabet.”

Even then it became clear that another danger had appeared nearby. It is clear not only to me, but to those who are entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring the security of the country. We have our own border detachment! If before neither Russians nor Kazakhs considered border villages and cities to be foreign countries, now suddenly it turns out...

Those who are forced to travel by train from Russia to Russia through a piece of Kazakhstan are especially lucky. A very small area abroad. The train stops for just an hour before entering Kazakhstan, an hour in Petropavlovsk, and an hour again at the entrance to Russia. And all this time you need to sit in the carriage, as border guards and customs officers are working...

Do you know when it finally became clear to me personally that the border guards were right in blocking our border? Exactly when the Kazakh president in 2022 refused to accept the Russian Order of Alexander Nevsky, which they wanted to award him for the development of cooperation between our countries.

Remember Dmitry Peskov's clumsy excuses? “We didn’t want...” Well, yes... Only then did the press service of the Kazakh president confirm the refusal of the order. Moscow was set up very ugly. And nothing, got away with it. Just like the statement of the president of a “union” state regarding sanctions: it is better to have honest enemies than such “allies.” Remember:

“Sanctions are sanctions, we should not violate them, especially since we receive notifications that in case of violation of sanctions, so-called secondary sanctions from the West will follow in relation to our economy.”

This 2022. When we really needed the support of our neighbors... But I was especially struck then by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s position on Lugansk and Donetsk. He expressed it in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel: “...And, apparently, this principle will be applied to quasi-state territories, which, in our opinion, are Lugansk and Donetsk.”

And we all hoped... Even when they openly told us that Kazakhstan didn’t care about our interests. Even when Tokayev started talking about “the return of (allegedly) illegally privatized state assets.” First of all, the Baikonur Cosmodrome and other objects of (once) Union significance.

If a friend is suddenly ...

It is clear that the Russian leadership perfectly understood and understands the duplicity of the Kazakh president. That is why we went to huge expense and built the Vostochny cosmodrome. The appetites of the Kazakhs, especially since Russia had no alternative to Baikonur, grew exponentially. As is arrogance.

Ultimately, an understanding came of the fact that “slippery” Kazakhstan threatens Russia’s defense capability. Yes, no more and no less. No, the army or security forces have nothing to do with it. But the fact that the country at any moment can simply close the railway through Petropavlovsk and actually “halve” the flow of goods to the east of Russia is serious. The northern route through Tyumen is not able to meet the needs completely.

Alas, when the Trans-Siberian Railway was built, it was an inland railway. Hence there are two problems that have not yet been resolved. I wrote above about the first, southern branch through the neighboring country. But the second one is almost never voiced. This is... Omsk! Today it is impossible to deliver anything to the east of Russia without passing this city. Accordingly, in the event of an emergency, the destruction of the railway station will block the entire highway.

I think there is no point in developing this topic further. Even a schoolchild can come up with a solution to a problem. It is necessary to build at least a backup road. At the same time, if possible, it is necessary to bypass Omsk. And this is quite technically difficult and expensive. Western Siberia is a very geographically complex region. Swamps...

So that the reader does not form a false opinion about the author, I will say that thoughts about defense capability, as well as about the construction of a railway backup, have been voiced for a long time. Moreover, at the beginning of the century, Russian Railways carried out an examination and assessment of this project.

Alas, at that time we simply did not have the announced amount of funds. 140 billion rubles according to 2007 estimates! As often happens in such cases, the project was postponed to the future, that is, included in the Transport Strategy for the period until 2030.

There was even an attempt to build it in parts. Simply put, part of the funds was allocated in 2009, but... This method of construction did not justify itself. It turned out to be even more expensive than stated in the Russian Railways estimate. The money was spent, but instead of construction, it was spent on repairing existing tracks...

In 2018, the project was remembered again. By this time, two more projects had appeared. More precisely, they remembered old projects. In particular, the northern backup Tatarsk - Tara - Tobolsk - Tavda. For me personally, this project is the most promising. It’s somehow calmer away from “friends”. And it is necessary to develop the Siberian swamps... In any case, I am sure of this, construction will begin soon.

So, an inadequate neighbor, whom we helped and are helping, ultimately makes us think about safety. And it turns out to be a completely illogical situation. We spend money that we could invest in the economy of the same neighbor on defense. Who benefited from this? Us? Maybe. Kazakhstan? Doubtful...

The bitter realization that friendship between states is just a fiction

How many times have we been burned by the fact that our former “bosom friends” betrayed us. And those that were once close, from the republics of the USSR, and those that were further away, from the Department of Internal Affairs. Each time after such a betrayal, we remembered the Emperor and his words about Russia’s allies. Each time they complained about their naivety and soft heart.

But we ourselves are to blame. What, we don’t see President Tokayev’s readiness to betray? Don’t we see the duplicity of the Armenian prime minister?

We see it, but we continue to wait for them to come to their senses and understand something. They won’t come to their senses, they won’t understand.

If they come to their senses, it will only be when they find themselves in a mess similar to the one the Ukrainians got into. And they will, again, out of a long-acquired habit, blame us for everything...

The current situation has reached this point because our leadership has long left everything to chance and has not done and is not doing ANYTHING. We ourselves have only recently begun to close down enemy breeding grounds for agents called NPOs, and do you think they’ve closed everything?
In Kazakhstan and Ukraine there have always been and will be those who hate us and those who are for us, but what have our authorities done so that pro-Russian leaders and not Russophobes come to power there? NOTHING! Even in our country, where supposedly everything is under control, the authorities are full of Russophobes and even Nazis who hate Russians and everything Russian, but who at the top cares about this? And then what should we demand from other countries if our leadership covers up Russophobes and helps them in everything, even in our country?
And the author is right! Everyone despises the weak, and now we look weak, that’s why everyone is kicking us, because there will be no answer.

Unfortunately, our beloved guarantor has been convincingly demonstrating a sad fact for us for a quarter of a century. He's a weakling. And money is the most important thing for him. This is where the extreme impudence of all the neighbors comes from - why not be impudent if you know for sure that nothing will happen to you for it?? It is enough that in your country there are interests of just a couple of Russian Correct Boys - and you can feel safe. Money, even if not very large, from such respected people will always outweigh any state considerations, even of strategic importance. This means you can get away with it as you wish. There are examples of this all over the border. Avon - the Baltic snookers alone are worth it... And what is happening today in Tsegabonia is a direct consequence of precisely this long-term attitude. For the sake of the coveted gas transit, for 30 years they turned a blind eye to the most vile and arrogant tricks.

Alas, we are ruled by naked hucksters with the psychology of a small beer wholesaler... And by no means warriors and statesmen...

He’s not the only weakling. He’s also gathered people like him around him. Worthless. But they’re trying to create around themselves a certain aura of statists. Taking fascist ideology as a model (yesterday’s article about students at the Russian State University for the Humanities). And throwing hundreds of thousands of compatriots into the firebox after failures and political impotence from 2014-2020... Neighbors see which country they live near. He's a weakling.

Before SVO, I thought so too, and I also thought he was stupid. But after preparing the army for the Northern Military District, planning the Northern Military District, negotiation runs, a gesture of goodwill, the lack of mobilization until a regrouping and a difficult decision came, entire bridges on the Dnieper plus the importation of migrants and the strengthening of official organized crime groups with the name of the diaspora, I became confident that his stupidity and the weakness is very well planned and carried out and is not at all in the interests of Russia. Therefore, if we put aside his chatter and look at his deeds, we come to the conclusion that he is somehow connected with the CIA and works in the interests of the United States.

Well, what kind of CIA wink if the CIA could have carried it out quietly and smoothly.

American CIA. I remember the request for a patriotic leader in our society and how the popularity of then Prime Minister Primakov soared after he turned his plane over the Atlantic when they started bombing Yugoslavia and I remember how quickly Primakov was replaced by Putin, who on the one hand shouted about throwing terrorists into the toilet and on the other On command from Washington, he closed our bases in Cuba and Vietnam and, as it turned out, dragged Russia into NATO.
In principle, there was no industry anyway; almost all of it was destroyed.

Yeltsin didn’t have time to ruin everything. At the time Putin came to power, we had an auto industry working, AZLK, GAZ, ZiL were working, AvtoVAZ models were popular, the aviation industry was working, the Tu-204/214, Il-96 and Yak-42 were already flying and preparing for production of the Tu-334 and the share of entirely domestic aircraft on our airlines’ flights was more than 80%.
After 24 years of his rule, we have practically no automobile industry, ZIL and most of the AZLK were demolished, GAZ stopped producing passenger cars, foreigners occupied the market. The Saratov aircraft plant has been demolished, Samara Aviakor and Voronezh VASO are barely breathing, not a single one of our aircraft has been produced for airlines over the past 10 years, and only TWO of our Tu-204s fly for our airlines.
We could have waited a little longer and that would have been it.

And for example, Primakov, who was friends with the Prime Minister of Saddam Hussein’s government with unknown consequences, or someone even more radical, would come to power, because in 1999 Yeltsin was hated by the overwhelming majority of Russians. And so Putin came, who saddled and led the patriotic movement of Russians, pretending to be a patriot in words, but in reality doing what the United States needed, simultaneously robbing Russia with his accomplices. And where did he lead us?

Does the term ALLY say anything about the REASONS for this alliance? Out of great love and personal sympathy, allies never existed. Only to receive BENEFIT. So, after WWII, it was extremely beneficial for the same Europeans to ally with the USA, otherwise they would have been swallowed up by the USSR. Now they are afraid of the Russian Federation, and the United States is the hegemon of the world financial system. Of course. But somehow one cannot even dare to call vassals/semi-colonies “allies”. Take the EU countries or R. Korea, which follow the footsteps of American policy, but this adherence has not brought any benefit to their economy/culture in recent decades; on the contrary, it has been harmful. And why? Yes, because they are not “allies” of the United States, but real semi-colonies/dependent territories, which are kept “in a tight grip” with the help of military bases, financial dictatorship and tame elites...
For example, if the elites of the Russian Federation and Iran had more thoughts about the long term, then they could well become “allies” (on a mutually beneficial basis), but there are significant invisible forces that constantly prevent this...

Yes, because they are not “allies” of the United States, but real semi-colonies/dependent territories, which are kept “in a tight grip” with the help of military bases, financial dictatorship and tame elites...

And this is completely unimportant what the vassals get from this. Although they have military assistance, this is an indisputable fact. Well, again, they do not impose secondary sanctions against them))) In return for this, they are frantically participating in the sanctions war against the Russian Federation and China.

Tell me, colleagues, is there at least one pro-Russian (not to mention Russian) in Kazakhstan (and this considering the number of Russians in this country), Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan? Last year I asked a friend living in the south of Kazakhstan about the January events there. How did they manage to seize weapons not only from local police departments, but also from army warehouses?! And he has friends in the local police. And there it turns out that many decided not to get involved in the showdown between the battles. And the fact that their relatives may suffer from stolen weapons does not matter. Not to mention the regulations of the guard service. Well, just hand over your weapons... They are also my allies. Of the unclear things - it seems like the railway station in Sol-Iletsk is at the disposal of Kazakhstan - why all of a sudden?! And after a trip to Gai and Orsk, I learned that the traffic police are looking for absolutely all cars with Kazakh license plates. There are allegedly many cases of cargo delivery to and from Ukraine. Grocery stores sometimes sell goods from Ukraine. It’s unclear in what circles they carry this.

Without clarifying the nature of our gullibility from the outside, it is appropriate to note: “Amy Chua ... substantiated the thesis that the economic “appeasement” of minorities in no country in the world in the last half century has been effective.” We have to learn this in relation to all peoples - there are no altruistic relationships between organisms (a people is also an organism). You cannot create hothouse conditions for other nations, this is our lesson of recent centuries, remembering the Russian squadrons off the coast of America in 1865 and the Kursk, the joint venture, the liberation of Europe and the offensive of NATO, and much more. Organisms take, but do not give back - this is nature.
With others, a relationship of symbiosis and mutualism is needed - “an association that is beneficial to both species and obligatory for them.” We must move away from commensalism, “in which cooperation is beneficial only to one of the partners.” Moreover, avoid amensalism (“relationships that are harmful for one partner and neutral for the other”). Only nationally oriented management will be capable of all this, which is our immediate priority.

Although we didn’t accept the Latin alphabet, every street is replete with the Latin alphabet. Not an ordinary person should think about how to build a road to Omsk. Yeltsin and Burbulis were in such a hurry to sign the Belovezhskaya Agreement that they forgot about the routes of communication. And this is not only Omsk, but also Kaliningrad. We are fighting against a highly educated enemy, who has given us the education he needs. We are forgetting the words “hydraulic construction” and land reclamation. There should be no secondary places in building a state. Let's save on one thing, and then it will come out as the main thing.

these blizzard-bearing mustaches speaking on behalf of Russia clearly do not understand that refusing Russia’s highest award, the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called, is a slap on Russia and its nobility, rewarding those who are also ungrateful to Russia for even existing...
Not only Finland, for example, but also Latvia and Estonia, which never had their own statehood, received a gift of independence and sovereignty from Russia-USSR. Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have never had their own statehood, and they have not yet fought for it. And here you will receive your statehood from generous Russia-USSR. And of course - so is Kazakhstan! Who else is close in that ranking? Yes, starting with modern Romania and Greece and ending with Vietnam, North Korea, Israel, Angola, Cuba and India and China.
But if we return to “our sheep”, then kneel before one of them, who does not understand that if not Russia-USSR, then he would never have had his own independence and sovereignty, and he also refuses the highest order of Russia, then all that remains is to blame Russia for her hope that the sheep will one day begin to think smartly... And it doesn’t matter whether they are in the EU and NATO herd, or in another... well, for example, in the DOCH.

It is not clear from the article who the author means by the word “we”. I think the author still meant Power.
There is capitalism in Russia. The big bourgeoisie has power. Therefore, clearly, “We” is big capital.
Based on this, all actions of the Russian Government are considered only in the expediency of making a profit.

Certain Russian companies profit from cooperation with Kazakhstan. Moral and moral principles, such as “friendship of peoples”, etc., have nothing to do with it.

Trade turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan in 2023 increased to a record 2,5 trillion rubles

...QazaqGaz invited Russia to consider the possibility of supplying gas to China through the territory of the republic. For our country, at first glance, the prospect of another route for gas exports to China is very tempting, given plans to increase supplies to Asia...
    https://rg.ru/2023/02/28/trubnaia-rabota.html

    PS
An interesting detail: although Russia supplies gas to Kazakhstan, gas for residents of Kazakhstan is cheaper than for citizens of Russia.

“...The cheapest gas, as analysts noted, is purchased by residents of Kazakhstan, where in terms of Russian currency it costs 4,8 rubles per cubic meter. Russia is in second place with a price of 7,4 rubles per cubic meter...”

. When there was a coup attempt and Russia showed strength, we were respected. But when we allow our neighbors to treat us as equals, to demand something from us, we lose this respect.

You need to be such that you are respected without your constant melancholy desire to impose yourself. Someone who actively demands respect is simply ridiculous: “Do you respect me?” Respect can't be bought, don't even try! Bought respect is the most perishable commodity.
Well, if you really need your neighbors not to feel equal to you and not to sit on your head, neck or any other part of the body, your economic and military superiority over them should be a global brand - genuine and obvious to everyone. In this case, you won’t have to look for friends and allies, they will come to you themselves - on their own! And you need to remember that your superiority over them, whether economic or political, is the kind of gold that is constantly tested for authenticity the old fashioned way, that is, with the teeth of its neighbors on the planet (isn’t it a Chinese fake?). You yourself can bite your economy and army as much as you like, shout to those around you, they say, look - there are dents, the gold is genuine, they won’t believe it and will sharpen their teeth on you - theirs. To bite on occasion. That’s why your authenticity should be obvious without dents and not make you want to bite you even in your thoughts. But if at least one of your dams turned out to be chewed by mouse teeth, do not go to the international market to buy even a replica of recognition of your greatness, or a fake of respect - your neighbors will not match the price!

The US efforts were not in vain. All our former republics, at the whistle of our geopolitical enemy, will betray us and attack, voicing claims to Russian lands, taking revenge for the imaginary oppression of Muslims, etc.
You need to understand: there are few passionaries, especially organized ones, among them (this is not Ukraine), the corrupt elite (even taking into account those clinging to the feeding trough) are few in number and do not enjoy the people’s love. Now is the most convenient moment to clearly outline the prospect for them.
It is necessary, using the base in Gyumri, to organize the overthrow of the Soros government in Yerevan, portraying it in the media as a nationwide uprising against the American puppet N. Pashinyan with the physical elimination of all Russophobic scum. At the same time, act extremely cruelly, so that the very thought of resistance instills horror in the population. Taking advantage of the resulting vacuum of power, appoint a provisional government from previously prepared people who will announce Armenia’s entry into the Russian Federation as a republic (and not into this artificial “Union State”).

Don't bring the blizzard. The history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is just part of the history of not only Belarus and Anti-Russia (formerly Ukraine), but also Russia as well. ON is not the future, but the past, and a medieval one at that. Our future is a sovereign Belarus in union and partnership with true friends and reliable allies.

Our future is a sovereign Belarus in union and partnership with true friends and reliable allies

Reminds us of our scout’s toast at an enemy banquet: “For victory!... For OUR Victory!”
You didn’t even name your allies. Some are Muscovites, some are Poles. That’s why the Pole’s card is held in high esteem. And who will pay for and protect your sovereignty?
These are all dreams more harmful than utopian communism. There will be either Belarus, including Vilna and Bialystok, as part of the Russian Federation, or Poland - from the Oder to the Dnieper.

Kazakhstan is following the rake of the Ukrainian Reich, and even the blind can see it. Tokayev, this is the same Yanukovoshch, only in profile. And the Kremlin does not draw any conclusions and does nothing to prevent this from happening again. And then, the Russian army has to correct the mistakes of the Kremlin authorities with its own blood.

Well, yes, all that remains is to remember how many and to whom he “distributed” orders here in our country. Those who then dumped themselves over the hill, and from there they pour sewage on our country, our people, our history. And how many of them are still left here, these “order bearers” who always have their suitcases ready, and whose children and grandmothers have been there for a long time. sad

Some kind of crying from Yaroslavl.
It’s capitalism, even imperialism, everyone is thinking about their power and capital.
And the Author is feignedly surprised by Kakhastan.

You can remember that Russia also blocks the trade of bananas, tangerines, wine, coal from its neighbors when it is profitable for it. Likewise, neighbors block if it is beneficial for them. And they also kill gray people for money.
Do Belarusian shrimp remember everything? But my dad still hasn’t recognized Crimea.

And “invest money in a neighbor”... The neighbor is also not . "Muscovites will come and buy everything."
The old man also loudly cut off the voiced hopes of the oligarchs to “optimize” something fat for the Russian “effective managers” in the Republic of Belarus. Or have they already forgotten, no one remembers?

IMHO, idealism. First, make a good life for yourself, then your neighbors will come along...

“Unity,” declared the oracle of our day, “
It may be soldered with iron and blood only ... "
But we will try to solder it with love, -
And then we'll see what is stronger ...
      F.I. Tyutchev
Well, we tried it: the result was a disaster. So the Oracle is right.
And in order to finally restore controllability on the territory of the Russian Empire (USSR), it is necessary to abandon the leading and guiding role of the IMF and the WTO.

However, it is sometimes more difficult to understand our poets what exactly they meant than it was for them to “understand Russia with their minds.” The same Tyutchev was, as you know, also a diplomat....

In Ukraine there were still festivals, holidays, friendship of peoples.... in the 0s-10s due to the inertia of the USSR.
and then that's it. All the news - who owes whom how much for the pipe, how much they want to charge, and why they allow/do not allow oligarchs to buy up their enterprises in the rules of “free capitalism...”

Conclusion: “Spread with love” was canceled from above. Like a grandmother with a red flag, for example. Suddenly she was no longer needed.. Remember this one?

Modern international “existence” is such that there cannot be real allies, much less “brothers for centuries” by definition.... It is a pity that Russia has not yet understood this and, apparently, is not going to understand... At present moment, modern life and relationships between countries impose their own “rules of the game”: practicality, the ability to cooperate profitably and “hide behind a wide back” in the event of conflicts or other state disasters... We are now living in a period of temporary or situational fellow travelers.. Which, at the moment, are Kazakhstan, Armenia and, further down the list, including China, Iran and even fraternal Belarus... In today's world, they respect (fear) the strong, the inevitable, who know how to assert their status and support through deeds and force. our own statute... This is also our fault: for 30 long years we have not been engaged in systematic and balanced ideological work and “close” economic interaction with our former union republics and so-called “allies”, whom, in fact, we betrayed and abandoned to the mercy of fate (Yugoslavia, Cuba, Angola, Vietnam and, further down the list)... State “don’t care”, “dense” lack of professionalism, at all levels of power and management, staying in the paradigm “Where can you get away from us.. ..” They gave their immediate “fruits” in the “neighborhood gardens” in the form of full-blown nationalism, dependency, attempts to rewrite the history of everything, arrogance and a persistent understanding of the aborigines that Russia always owes everything to everyone.... The bottom line is ": at the moment, Russia is "reaping the fruits" of those recent years of general "don't care" and the desire, as quickly as possible, to join the "friendly family of European states" with its hastily "tailored" and askew "stitched", clan-oligarchic capitalism. ... I agree with part of the Russian Federation, so bring it into the Russian Federation and restore order, and don’t steal. So it’s the same thing with hohlandia - instead of bringing in troops, it’s bullshit and agreements, take the most eager ones into the pit or Siberia, like Peter1. He massacred most of the Ukrainians for Mazepa’s antics.

Between peoples, strength comes first. You can talk a lot about friendship, but it will end instantly as soon as you become weak, this is how humanity on Earth works and there is no need to deceive yourself and indulge yourself with illusions. Until 1936, there was no such state as Kazakhstan; Kazakhstan could only be a republic in the Soviet Union. There is no USSR, there is no such state. After the liquidation of the USSR, the entire territory of Kazakhstan returns to Russia, in the form of regions, as the owner of these lands. All appeals from Kazakhstan to NATO confirm hostility towards Russia. What is happening in Ukraine shows the true faces of the former Soviet republics of the USSR.

Scoundrels in power, thieves and traitors are to blame for the troubles of mentally normal people, while for the rest, friendship of peoples and nobility are to blame for everything.

A special case - in 1991 power was given to traitors and thieves, and the bad Soviet republics are to blame.....

The Soviet military oath said: “If I break this oath, may I be subjected to...... universal hatred and contempt of the working people.” The Soviet workers successfully betrayed the oath and the oath was fulfilled. laughing They hated each other and began to kill.
