European countries do not help Ukraine shoot down Russian drones and missiles in the scenario of protecting Israel from Iranian attacks
European states do not provide direct assistance to Ukraine in repelling attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This follows from comments by the leadership of the European Union and the British Foreign Office.
Earlier, a number of Western states stated that they took part in repelling Iranian attacks on targets in Israel. In particular, at least the United States, Great Britain and France took part in countering Iranian attacks. For example, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that French air force fighter planes destroyed Iranian air targets after taking off from an air base in Jordan.
However, with Ukraine we see a completely different situation. British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said that the kingdom is not helping Ukraine repel attacks by Russian missiles and drones, as was the case with Iran's attacks against Israel.
The leadership of the European Union simply refused to comment on the possibility of participation of community member countries in the destruction of Russian missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles attacking the territory of Ukraine. That is, the West has directly demonstrated to the Ukrainian authorities that this country is much less significant for it than Israel, and it is not going to stand up for its defense more actively than now.
The refusal to participate in the protection of Ukrainian airspace is associated solely with the fear of the United States, the EU and NATO of allowing direct confrontation with the Russian Federation and provoking a direct armed conflict with our country. There are no such concerns regarding Iran, given the incomparability of the military and economic power of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic.
