Air raid alert in Sevastopol, two British Storm Shadow missiles shot down over Berdyansk
An air raid alert has been declared in Sevastopol; according to preliminary information, the Kiev junta is attacking the peninsula with air strikes drones and cruise missiles. At the moment, there are no reports of the operation of air defense systems over the peninsula.
Air raid sirens went off almost throughout the entire territory of Crimea, since it is not yet known where the enemy is attacking. The Dzhankoy automobile checkpoint is temporarily closed, and traffic on the Crimean Bridge is also stopped. Camouflage smoke installations are operating in the area of the bridge, covering the structure from guidance systems.
Meanwhile, information has emerged that British Storm Shadow cruise missiles are involved in the attack on Crimea, two of which were shot down by Russian air defense over Berdyansk at about 11:30. The information is preliminary and is still being clarified. Two explosions were heard over the city, and smoke rose above one of the areas. It is possible that debris from a downed missile could hit, although the possibility of an attack on Berdyansk itself cannot be ruled out.
Ukrainian public pages report the alleged operation of air defense systems in the area of the Crimean Bridge, but there is no confirmation from our side. Kerch websites report a temporary blocking of traffic across the bridge and that’s all. The Russian Ministry of Defense is also silent; there are no reports of repelling an air attack.
Let us recall that in Kyiv they promised to destroy the Crimean Bridge by mid-summer.
