Tasnim: Tehran airports have returned to normal operations
1
These days, the situation in the Middle East has become significantly tense amid Iran's attacks on Israel, and many airlines and airports in the region have had to make adjustments to their operating modes.
According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, Tehran's main air gates, the Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airports, have also returned to their previous operating hours. Both airports have resumed service to international and domestic flights, the agency notes. According to the publication, passengers who purchased tickets for previously canceled flights will have the opportunity to exchange them for other dates.
Flights from Iran's major airports were canceled yesterday and the restrictions were in effect until 6:00 am on Monday. According to reports from the IRNA news agency, the flight bans affected the airports of sixteen major Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran and cities such as Isfahan, Tabriz, Ahwaz, Bushehr, Kermanshah and others.
Let us recall that on the night of April 14, Iran launched a massive attack on military targets in Israel, using more than three hundred drones and missiles. The strike was a response to an Israeli attack on the Iranian diplomatic mission in Syria, which resulted in the death of senior Iranian generals.
