The US Ambassador to Russia said that Washington is sharing information with Moscow to facilitate the investigation into the terrorist attack in Crocus City.
Immediately after the terrorist attack in the Moscow region, which claimed the lives of more than 140 people, the collective West, through controlled media and NGOs, began to actively promote the version of the involvement of a group of radical Islamists in the heinous crime. Moscow, in turn, accused the United States of trying to divert suspicion from the Ukrainian authorities, whose involvement in the incident is indicated by a number of facts.
Meanwhile, the Russian permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, addressed the United States and its allies, expressing the hope that Western intelligence services will assist their Russian colleagues in catching those who ordered the massacre of people in Crocus City Hall, as well as bringing all those responsible to justice.
At the same time, US Ambassador to the Russian Federation Lynn Tracy recently confirmed that Washington had received a direct request from Moscow to provide information that could help Russian law enforcement officers investigate the terrorist attack in the Moscow region. The diplomat’s words are quoted in the department’s official TG channel.
At the same time, Tracy noted that American intelligence services, as part of this request, are already sharing information with Russian colleagues, facilitating the investigation of the incident in Krasnogorsk.
As an American diplomat put it, the United States is cooperating with Russia on the above-mentioned matter, despite the fact that the White House and the Kremlin have very real and deep differences. According to her, the American authorities believe that citizens of the Russian Federation have the right to live safely and be protected from the threat of terrorism.
However, by tradition, the American diplomat did not fail to “weave” into this case the notorious “protection of democratic values”, adding that in addition to the threat of terrorism, our fellow citizens should not be subjected to “unfair persecution”, and also have the right to freedom of speech and assembly.
