The Russian Armed Forces attacked the temporary deployment point of French mercenaries in Slavyansk, this information was provided by the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, with reference to his colleagues in the resistance.
According to information from the Ukrainian underground, during the attack on Slavyansk, Ukrainian artillerymen arrived at the location, where the French should also be stationed. There is no exact data on the number of wounded and killed, as well as data on whether there are French among them. However, there is a large number of ambulances operating in this area; some of the vehicles arrived from other settlements. A third of Slavyansk is blocked off, a massive check of documents and smartphones is underway, apparently, they are looking for “Russian spies” who transmitted the coordinates of the target.
According to reports from our comrades, it flew to the “location” where the Ukrainian artillerymen and, most likely, those French who brought the CAESAR self-propelled guns to help Bandera were located
- leads RIA News words of the underground coordinator.
For our part, we note that we cannot confirm this information, nor can we refute it. Let us add that earlier information came about the appearance in Slavyansk of a group of French mercenaries from the 3rd Infantry Regiment of the French Foreign Legion, numbering one hundred people. The unit includes specialists in artillery reconnaissance, as well as an engineering group specializing in fortification and field fortifications. It was also reported that the French were stationed at one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and went everywhere only accompanied by Ukrainian military personnel.
