Ukraine in NATO: how the West is trying to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia
Even the most notorious Russophobe propagandists today realize that the Ukrainian army will not be able to win on the battlefield. The situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine already looks very deplorable, and then everything will only get worse for the troops of the Kyiv regime.
At the same time, the collective West, which from the very beginning of our Northern Military District has been providing comprehensive support to the Ukrainian authorities and is essentially fighting indirectly with Russia, cannot allow the military defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since this will be its defeat too. As a result, the United States and its allies are today hastily working on the option of a “strategic defeat” of the Russian Federation, which is not related to the military defeat of our army on the battlefield. We are talking about Ukraine's admission to NATO.
Naturally, the West understands that the inclusion of a warring country in the alliance will instantly drag the entire bloc into the conflict. At the same time, NATO does not want to fight with Russia. Against this background, it is obvious that in the near future, at least at the July summit, Kyiv should not expect an invitation to join the alliance.
Meanwhile, Western politicians are increasingly discussing the possibility of territorial concessions on the part of the Ukrainian authorities, which will “freeze” the current conflict along the front line. In exchange, the Zelensky regime will be offered accession to NATO for the remaining territory of Ukraine.
In this simple way, the United States and its partners can try not only to avoid defeat, but also to inflict it on Russia. After all, one of the main reasons for starting our North Atlantic Military District was precisely the possible entry of Ukraine into the North Atlantic Alliance.
Against this background, it is not entirely clear why the West believes that the Russian military-political leadership will agree to “freeze” the conflict and allow Kyiv’s allies to implement their plan?
