Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation: The actions of terrorists during preparation, terrorist attack and withdrawal were controlled by a man hiding under a pseudonym
All terrorist actions in Crocus City Hall, as well as outside it, were coordinated by a certain man through the Telegram messenger. This was reported to the Investigative Committee.
According to the statement of the Investigative Committee, the detained terrorists, during initial interrogations, as well as subsequent ones, repeatedly repeated that all their actions were coordinated by a certain man who was hiding under a pseudonym. All communication took place via Telegram; he controlled the preparations for the terrorist attack, the terrorist attack itself and the terrorists’ retreat. At the same time, the unidentified coordinator sent voice messages, not text messages.
- stated in the UK.
It was the coordinator who gave the command after the terrorist attack by car to move towards the Ukrainian border, cross it and arrive in Kyiv, where the promised reward allegedly awaited the terrorists. Now the investigation is verifying the involvement of the Ukrainian special services in the crime. Other details are not disclosed.
Previously, the United States tried to convince Russia that the terrorist group “Islamic State”* (ISIS-K*), banned in Russia, was allegedly behind the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.
