Russian TG channel: During a night attack, a blow was struck at the Bilche-Volitsko-Uhersky underground gas storage facility in the Lviv region of Ukraine

On the night from Thursday to Friday, the Russian Armed Forces launched a combined attack on energy facilities and air defense systems on the territory of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense announced this today in its daily update, but did not provide any details. However, information on the strike has already begun to appear.

According to available data, during the attack on the Lviv region, the attack was carried out on the infrastructure of an underground gas storage facility near the city of Stryi. The target was the Bilche-Volitsko-Uhersky underground gas storage facility, which is not only the largest underground gas storage facility in Ukraine, but also in Europe, holding up to 17 billion cubic meters of gas. It was this UGS that Europe considered as a backup storage facility for its gas, since it is connected to the European gas system and there are no problems pumping gas into it and back.

Several strikes from Geran-2 missiles and UAVs hit tanks 3 and 4 of the underground storage facility. As a result of the attack, a severe fire broke out at the site, which could not be contained for more than 7 hours.

- writes the TG channel “Donbass Partisan”.

It is noted that this is not the first blow to the gas infrastructure of Ukraine; on March 22, gas exchange point No. 3 and well No. 197, also near Stryi, Lviv region, were hit.

It is assumed that with such strikes Russia sends “hi” to Europe and communicates the seriousness of its intentions. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has prohibited the publication of data on the condition of critical infrastructure facilities, Ukrainian resources report.

Gas is Europe's Achilles heel. Noble greetings to Eurofaces. I also read from the military correspondents today that in Kharkov, after an air attack, someone of very high rank was killed and was urgently and secretly taken out.

which is not only the largest underground gas storage facility in Ukraine, but also in Europe, holding up to 17 billion cubic meters of gas. This is exactly what Europe considered as a reserve storage facility for its gas,

Beautiful!!! Finally we understood, after the terrorist attack, who is in front of us... Otherwise, all compliance with international rights, etc. And these literally laughed in our eyes and committed terrorist attacks
This time Russophobia must be remembered for centuries all over the world and paid for EVERYTHING!

I would like to think well of our elite, but I suspect that this is a response from our oligarchs to the ragulians for “violating the convention” (for attacking our refineries).
And for the terrorist attack, the president promised to punish the perpetrators specifically, according to their personalities, which means that the shooting is postponed until the end of the investigation, a lawyer, after all.

The oligarchs have not yet learned how to plan missile strikes. But there is nothing wrong with responding, if necessary, then it can be done that way.

The Istanbul agreements with the suspension of hostilities and a gesture of goodwill for the withdrawal of troops (even if partially forced by the results of the month we gave Bandera’s followers to mobilize and transfer troops) show that in our country, at least at that time, political decisions prevailed over military expediency, well and oligarchs, by definition, participate in state politics

After 1991, the countries that took control of the levers openly cultivated the predominance of economic interests over everything else, and many of them or those whom they put in place are still in control of these levers. Von Clausewitz said that “war is the continuation of politics by other means,” and “politics is the concentrated expression of economics,” and although this is not always true, it is quite often true.

Only this Marxist-Leninist economy, from a backward agrarian country destroyed by a war started by the capitalists and the armies of 14 countries which they brought here to kill Russians, turned Russia into a superpower, which one half of the world obeyed and the other half feared.
What has your advanced market economy led us to during 35 years of liberal rule? We even stopped producing nails, and this is impossible with a loan rate above 20%.

Unfortunately, now in our country everything is completely different. Once again, unfortunately. Because a business takes decades to build, but collapses in months. Now we would like to preserve at least some of what we were able to build in 30 years. At least half of that. But unfortunately there is no chance to save it. Recent events indicate the USSR is returning, with privatization and collective irresponsibility. Unfortunately, this road makes the country weaker.

There is no need to exaggerate. You will also say that we claim that the oligarchs are involved in the preparation of the missile launch and personally direct them from the Rublev bunkers. They can take part in the decision to strike economic targets, perhaps even approve lists of large enterprises that can/should be bombed and which should not be bombed! Naturally, they do not personally lead the military; there are politicians for that. Naturally, they are guided by the good of the state, accurate economic calculations and in general “you don’t need to know everything,” and not by personal interests.

No, they just pump oil and gas through Ukraine and pay billions of dollars for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and missiles just accidentally hit these facilities.
And by chance, a gesture of goodwill and regrouping happened and, of course, by coincidence, the front line shifted east of Kupyansk, where the Tolyatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline runs along which the oligarch Rotenberg tried to agree to pump ammonia in the package of the grain deal.

And for some reason, I think that money bags (oligarchs, tycoons, etc.) need a main talking head who smoothly justifies the wishes of these bags. And heads, smaller in caliber, are enough to confuse the consciousness of the captive population. All these heads are essentially puppets of local capitalists.

Moldavian Energy Minister Viktor Parlikov said that the country stores most of its gas in storage facilities in Ukraine.
“A large reserve of gas is stored in Ukraine, of the 650 million cubic meters of gas, a very small percentage, about 20 million cubic meters of natural gas, comes from Romania, and the rest from Ukraine. The problem is that in Romania it is five to six times more expensive than in Ukraine,” he said.

I have an idea of how UGS facilities are structured; there are no underground reservoirs; UGS facilities are a previously depleted gas field. I’m following the topic, it’s clear that they’re hitting it, where I can’t clearly understand, in the picture from Google there’s a compressor room, if it’s destroyed, both the underground gas storage facility and the main pipe on which it sits will be covered, but there are several hydraulic fracturing units that distribute gas to hundreds of wells through which gas is pumped and is pumped into the seams for storage, the kettles from the cart seem to be called reservoirs, it seems they were initially hit, it is not clear whether the main “rocking chair” on which everything depends was destroyed, although it is the easiest to destroy, as it seems to me.

Question for the newly elected for 6 years in advance. What was stopping you before? And with attacks on thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants and other energy supply facilities? Yeltsin-Sobchak sourdough?

This is exactly what Europe considered as a reserve storage facility for its gas,
. For geyropa everything is sour...
They themselves pushed the Kukuevskys to decommunize everything at once, well, UGS is a LEGACY OF THE COMMUNISTS, the USSR and nothing else.

Oh, and sho tse take bulo?
Did the European Khaz drink? Well, we need to help the transition to “green energy”. Or some indecisive ones.
The main thing, if you don’t joke, is causing material damage and reducing the attractiveness of those places for, say, the Poles.

If they had done this from the very beginning, they would have saved themselves a lot of problems and, almost certainly, there would have been no more war, Ukraine would have signed peace. But they made serious mistakes and paid handsomely for them. I hope that from now on you will act more decisively and firmly, without hesitation and stupid humanitarian considerations towards the enemy. Your enemy is cruel, cunning and merciless. What else needs to happen for your reaction to be adequate? Destroy him without mercy.

You need to hit it with Yars or Sarmat to reset it completely.

It was this UGS that Europe considered as a backup storage facility for its gas, since it is connected to the European gas system and there are no problems pumping gas into it and back.

The less gas Europe has, the less their factories will work, and the less they work, the less military products they will create, which means they will supply less to Ukraine!
