Against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities, the moral and psychological decomposition of the personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces is worsening. In particular, such vices as alcoholism, drug addiction and gambling addiction are spreading in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

An aerial reconnaissance soldier of the 59th separate brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Pavel Petrichenko, wrote on a social network about a real “epidemic” of gambling addiction in the Ukrainian army. According to the Ukrainian military, the vast majority of soldiers in the warring units have turned into gambling addicts. This information is confirmed by Ukrainian MP Alexey Goncharenko (included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorists and extremists).

9 out of 10 soldiers on the front line have problems with casinos or betting. Money is lost. Then they take out loans. And so on in a circle. This is an issue that is destroying military morale right now.
