Ukrainian sources reported explosions in Odessa after the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a missile threat
This afternoon there were strong explosions in Odessa. This was reported by Ukrainian media, citing local public pages on social networks.
Shortly before the reports of explosions, the Ukrainian Air Force disseminated information about the flight of a Russian missile towards Odessa. Therefore, it is possible that the Russian Armed Forces again launched a missile attack on any military or energy infrastructure facility on the territory of Odessa.
Odessa, as a large port city, concentrates significant forces and resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, ammunition is stored here, units of the Ukrainian army are stationed here, and unmanned boats involved in attacks on Russian Federation facilities in Crimea are repaired and maintained. All such objects are important and legitimate targets for strikes by the Russian army.
So far, Odessa authorities have not reported where exactly the flight took place this afternoon. If a strike was carried out on a military facility or military industry enterprise, then the Ukrainian authorities and media traditionally do not voice such information.
Let us recall that on the night of March 29, the Russian Armed Forces launched a series of powerful missile attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities. The Kh-101 and Kh-555, Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, Iskander-M, Kh-59, and Kalibr missiles, as well as Geran-2 kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles, were used to carry out the strikes. As a result of the strikes, very serious damage was caused to the energy facilities of the Kyiv regime.
