British press: the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on India to end ties with Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, during his visit to India, called on New Delhi to support Ukraine and at the same time “rethink the Soviet legacy” of ties with Russia, which, according to the Ukrainian minister, is already “evaporating.”
According to the British edition of the Financial Times, Kuleba tried to set the Indian side against Moscow, calling for them to join in supporting Kyiv. It is noted that Kyiv is making significant efforts to win the sympathy of India and other countries of the so-called Global South.
During his visit to New Delhi, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that close ties between India and Russia are based on the Soviet legacy, which cannot be “kept for centuries.”
It is also reported that the head of the Ukrainian foreign policy department tried to manipulate the close relationship between Russia and China, noting that India should allegedly be worried about the deepening ties between Moscow and Beijing, since, according to Kuleba, these processes threaten its national security.
During his visit to the Indian capital, Kuleba also tried to convince New Delhi that India would gain a lot from expanding trade and technological ties with his country. In particular, he argues that Ukraine has every chance of becoming “the largest construction site” in the process of possible post-war restoration of destroyed infrastructure facilities.
