“The most correct option”: the speaker of the Armenian parliament spoke in favor of the country’s accession to the European Union

The Armenian authorities are already openly talking about the need for the country to join the European Union as soon as possible. Such a statement, in particular, was recently made by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan.

If earlier Yerevan was still trying to balance between Russia and the West, then recently the republican leadership has been demonstrating a desire to completely distance itself from our country. The pro-Western course has become dominant in Armenia's foreign policy.

For us, obtaining the status of a candidate for EU membership is the most correct and desirable option that we should follow. And here the process by which this must be done is important. Much needs to be brought in line with European standards

= stated by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament.

Earlier, Yerevan suspended membership in the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization). Armenia constantly makes reproaches to Russia that Moscow allegedly did not defend Nagorno-Karabakh from Azerbaijan, and this despite the fact that Yerevan itself never recognized the independence of this unrecognized republic and also did not provide it with any support.

By the way, the West, which Armenia is now trying to navigate, also did nothing to prevent the events in Nagorno-Karabakh, which led to a total exodus of the Armenian population. After all, the real goal of the West in the Transcaucasus is not to help Armenia, but to create new problems for Russia and Iran, neighboring Armenia. Pro-Western Armenian elites, following the lead of the United States, Great Britain and France, create additional risks for their people and the future of their state as a whole.

And how will the EU protect Armenia from Azerbaijan? Haven’t the Armenians realized yet that Pashinyan is their version of the zeneloh-banderlog? He will earn money and leave, but the problems will remain with the Armenians.

Now the European Union will stand up, stand to attention and, after listening to the speech of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan, will solemnly welcome Armenia into the EU to thunderous applause... Armenians, have you really become so stupid over these thirty years...??? Why does the EU need another poor country when they themselves have big problems in the economy of “European locomotives”...??? Ukraine and Georgia have been accepted for twenty years now and will not be accepted in any way, you will not be accepted until the collapse of the EU... But it will still collapse and the more countries such as Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine join it, the faster this will happen...

So that’s the point: the entire small-town elite is comprador. The personal interests of a significant part of this elite lie outside the borders of their countries. Many government officials and politicians own apartments and houses in the USA and European countries, and bank accounts in foreign banks.

I will go even further and say that if the Armenian antics are left unpunished, the precedent could lead to a domino effect in the post-Soviet space. Very soon, at the instigation of the West, other CSTO or CIS countries will begin to roll the barrel against Russia in the same way.

Many ancient Albanian temples of the Udins (the Udins are one of the Christian peoples of ancient Albania), all of their shrines were Armenianized. The trouble is that they not only stole from the Albanians, but also from the Georgians. These people were well advertised. Both their achievements and their grief are all one big fairy tale. Be that as it may, the Armenian-Gregorian Church is one of the oldest. The baptism of Armenia took place in 301. The Jerusalem cross consists of four branches, (this is the basis of Christianity) where the four branches are the Catholic Church, Orthodox, Coptic and Armenian-Gregorian. Even in the oldest cave temple in Jerusalem, the oldest Icon of the Mother of God is represented by Orthodoxy and the Armenian Church. I always honor this and no one has yet been able to cancel it.

They don’t really need visa-free travel - there are already many more Armenians around the world than in Armenia. And the European Union will bring tangerines to the point where there won’t be any of their own, but Italian stores will be available.

Your question, Nikolay, about how the European Union will help Armenia in the war with Azerbaijan, I have been asking myself about Ukraine for at least two years.

Armenia is strenuously striving to follow the path trodden by Ukraine.

He will provide for himself and his great-grandchildren and after a while he will live in Monaco or somewhere else and live without poverty. Russia, specifically Pashinyan, can offer much less than the West. Therefore the choice is obvious. Where are Yatsenyuk, Parubiy, Turchynov now? Or “our” Kozyrev, the same Chubais. The list is long. Without an idea, without an ideology, money will always win.

Armenia has been given the task of teasing Russia as much as possible. Based on this logic, the next step will be to lower the status of the Russian language and Russian culture. The road of Moldova is planning to move. Apparently, they were hinted that there is no common border with the Russian Federation, therefore, as in Georgia or in 404, it will not happen, i.e. you can get impudent. Nu-nu. Another contenders for their statehood to remain only in history. As for the people of Armenia, it seems that, like most Europeans, they are slowly degenerating, turning into a purely consumer of protein and informational food (or not?). And those who are now in power there are deeply concerned about what will happen to this people and country. "Nothing personal just business".

It is necessary to immediately raise the issue firmly about the exclusion of Armenia from the EAEU. After all, it is not some oppositionist who declares that Armenia’s goal is to join the EU, but one of the leaders of the state. The position of another leader, the Prime Minister of Armenia, does not differ from the position of the Speaker of Parliament. What are we always waiting for? Why do we allow unfriendly people to feed at the expense of Russia? I did not use the word “people” by chance. Because it is the people of Armenia who support this Pashinyan, his team, and the anti-Russian policy they are pursuing. It is necessary to at least state that during the period of Armenia’s suspension of its membership in the CSTO, as stated by Pashinyan, the CSTO relieves itself of its responsibilities for providing military-political assistance to Armenia. It must also be stated that if Armenia’s suspension of membership in the CSTO lasts more than one year, the CSTO will consider Armenia to have left the CSTO completely. There is no need for great Russia and its other allies to make themselves dependent on what decision some British spy Pashinyan will finally mercifully decide to make. Foreign policy should be active and decisive, not sluggish and loose. These statements must, of course, be supported by cost-effective measures, i.e. bringing economic partnership with Armenia to standard norms, without benefits. So that the same people really understand what they now have, what they will lose, and what they will gain by becoming an enemy of Russia.
