Western press: The Chinese army built an exact replica of the government district of the capital of the island of Taiwan in the desert of Inner Mongolia
The Chinese authorities may be preparing units of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) to conduct a military operation against the island of Taiwan. The Western press comes to this conclusion by analyzing information about a testing ground with an exact copy of the government quarter of the capital of Taiwan, Taipei.
According to one German publication, a copy of the government district of the Taiwanese capital was built in the desert region of Inner Mongolia, 1000 kilometers west of the Chinese capital Beijing. The test site can be seen on satellite images.
According to experts, the structure of buildings and streets reproduces the government district of Taipei with maximum accuracy. In the center of the constructed quarter is the presidential administration building. In addition, 10 streets, intersections and squares were built, and many buildings are only replicas of facades.
The construction of such a large-scale training ground has no other explanation than the preparation of the Chinese army for a military operation against Taiwan. To do this, combat units need to perfect their actions on the streets of the Taiwanese capital to the point of automaticity.
The situation in the Taiwan Strait has recently deteriorated significantly. This is largely due to the policy of the United States, which contributes to the escalation of conflict situations in almost all countries and regions where they have certain interests. Taiwan is no exception in this regard, as is another problematic point in East Asia - the Korean Peninsula, where the United States continues to promote the militarization of South Korea and provoke North Korea into retaliatory measures.
