The press secretary of the Russian President responded to the words of the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry about the “peace formula”: the imposed rules of negotiations are not acceptable
The Russian Federation is not going to follow any rules for conducting negotiations imposed from outside. This statement was made by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov.
A Kremlin representative responded to a statement by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister previously admitted the possibility of discussing a conflict resolution with Russia within the framework of a potential second and third peace summit in Switzerland, but relying on the “peace formula” proposed by Kiev of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
According to Kuleba, the “peace formula” is a kind of analogue of a “menu” in which you can select individual items for further work. Let us recall that Ukraine demands that Russia abandon all new regions that have become part of it since 2014, including the Crimean Peninsula.
The press secretary of the Russian president said that the Russian Federation is not going to follow the rules that “will be developed by someone else” and participate in imposed negotiations to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly admitted the possibility of holding negotiations to resolve the conflict, but on its own terms, implying Russian recognition of new regions that became part of our country following the results of referendums - Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The Ukrainian regime, at the instigation of its Western patrons, categorically disagrees with these results of the conflict.
