At the Admiralty Shipyards they laid down an autonomous deep-sea vehicle of Project 18200 for the Main Directorate for State Administration of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The Main Directorate of Deep-Sea Research of the Russian Ministry of Defense will receive a new deep-sea vehicle. According to the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, on March 28, 2024, the laying of a new Project 18200 apparatus took place at the Admiralty Shipyards in St. Petersburg.

Admiralty Shipyards will build an autonomous deep-sea vehicle of Project 18200 for GUGI. The project was developed by the St. Petersburg Marine Engineering Bureau "Malachite". As emphasized, “breakthrough solutions” will be used in the design of the device, which will allow it to operate at very great depths, even to the extreme. Other design details and characteristics are not disclosed.

Already at the design stage, the St. Petersburg Marine Engineering Bureau "Malachite" made a major breakthrough into the future. The backlog of existing developments was used and, at the same time, new design and engineering solutions were applied that have no analogues in the world

- said the head of the GUGI of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Vice Admiral Vladimir Grishechkin.

The device is named after the talented shipbuilder, chief designer of the Malachite deep-sea technical equipment, Sergei Mikhailovich Bavilin.

As Malachite clarified, the new deep-sea vehicle will be capable of solving a wide range of problems at great depths. It is designed to perform scientific research, historical and archaeological, emergency rescue work and much more.

The Atlantic is the best place for archaeologists to look for Atlantis.
        And they will find it.

It’s not a matter of the depression, if the device is autonomous, the question is how deep and deep-sea, the question is how much. This is a godsend for our deep-sea nuclear power plants. Let's remember Poseidons. And then the servicing of autonomous navigation and even strike modules is not far away. And under the ice. This is the future protection for the Northern Sea Route. The main thing is not to theoretically improve one prototype for 20 years, but to make it into a series.

As if in Kronstadt, in the K-3 memorial-museum, everything was overshadowed by the appearance of the Acting Commander of the Russian Fleet, Admiral Moiseev. But the reason why this was done was the presentation of a new symbol of military valor, the Ship Bowls, to distinguished submariners, among them was the commander of BS-64 "Podmoskovye". What have they "done"? In a word - GOOGY.

I don't know all the details. But as I wrote above, I hope GOOGY is GOOGY. It's still very interesting, but very unknown. I hope we find out someday. Not about projects, but how it really is

They wrote that the nuclear submarine "Komsomolets" began poisoning with radiation. It is unlikely that this is a leak from the reactor, which means either missiles or torpedoes... Removing them from the mines and devices was unrealistic at that time. It may also be suitable for such work.
Or after the K-219 disaster in 1986, a year later MIR spacecraft were lowered to it from the Akademik Keldysh for the purpose of inspecting the reactor and missile silos. But all the mines turned out to be open and empty... And this is at a depth of about 5 km. Our commission accepted the version that the shafts were compressed by pressure, the lid locks failed and the rockets were thrown out on their way to the bottom. Searches at the bottom did not yield any results....
It is unlikely that the Americans picked them up, all 15 of them. One shaft was faulty and mothballed empty. To study it, it was enough to lift one or two... Rather, they went under the bottom sediments and were poisoned there slowly.

In the morning, RIA news has already trumpeted that a detachment of the Pacific Fleet entered the Red Sea. That Eisenhower didn’t expect it, but we came close! This is probably the first time the Russian Navy has pinned down an AUG in such a narrow sea. We’re not fighting, we can lower the flag mutually. It seems there is another option say hello, raise the bow cannon to the maximum elevation angle - without lowering the flag.

So we just came back from an exercise where the navies of Iran, China and Russia took part. Iran’s intelligence base is located at the entrance to the Red Sea. The Western coalition knows what the Iranians are doing there, but they can only fart threateningly in the media in their direction. There are 8 more pennants The Indian Navy is located.Fun.

Since the RF Ministry of Defense ordered such a device, and with such characteristics, it means that in the depths of the GUGI, the RF Ministry of Defense has “ripened”, a plan, from the results of which Britain and the United States will have to “turn on their brains” and begin to “negotiate” with Russia on all issues... The GUGI of the RF Ministry of Defense does not order devices unnecessarily, for a specific case, and the US Department of Defense and MI-6 have “heard enough” about this... And the British, as an island state, need to think hard about the long-term plans of the GUGI of the RF Ministry of Defense... They (Britain), like no one else, has long been “ripe” for a sensitive strategic “response” .....

"Already at the design stage... unparalleled in the world." Maybe that’s enough about “analog network”? This meme is already outdated. They haven’t done it yet, but there are no analogues in advance. Just build first, and then weave analogues.

It is designed to carry out scientific research, historical and archaeological, emergency rescue work and much more.

There are so many other things that have accumulated there that such devices must, like crabs, surf the expanses of the world’s oceans, paying special attention to the communications of our “sworn partners” and inflicting economic damage on them without regret, with a feeling of deep satisfaction.

In the USSR they loved victory reports, but mainly based on the fact of something being accomplished.
And some things were not covered at all.
In modern Russia - any sneeze is trumpeted to the whole world - and quickly to the trough, to teach buns.

About media. Most of the materials on Military Review about the situation in the world, about the situation in the combat zone, and about many other things - the practical majority - are based on information from enemy analysts, military personnel, and politicians.
Why not on the statements of our politicians, our analysts, our Ministry of Defense? Peskov, Konashenkov, Soloviev and others?
Maybe they are silent? No, they are presented a lot and regularly.
So anyway. Why? Try to answer this question - and a lot will fall into place.
