“Satellite images do not confirm”: the Polish press refuted the statements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces about the alleged destruction of landing ships of the Russian Navy

Recently, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine constantly published false reports about the destruction of Su-34 bombers by almost squadrons, without providing any evidence, or even trying to pass off footage of burning grass as them. Now Kyiv has switched to “sinking” ships of the Russian Navy.

On March 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an attack on two Russian large landing craft Yamal and Azov. As indicated, both ships were allegedly destroyed as a result of a cruise missile strike. However, in satellite images taken after this statement, one can only see a mark on the dock site, allegedly left from a missile explosion.
It is currently unclear how damaged the ships are, if any damage can be reported.

Despite these denials, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to maintain their statistics based on their own information leaks. On March 27, the Ukrainian Navy stated in an interview with the American agency AP that a third of all Russian ships in the Black Sea had been sunk or damaged.
