When the fugitives spoke. Former Ukrainian politicians about the tragedy at Crocus City Hall
The terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk near Moscow caused a lot of condolences in most countries of the world. In Ukraine, the reaction is not entirely clear - instead of at least finding some words for the sake of decency for the families and loved ones of the dead civilians, the whole world hears from Kyiv and reads something obscene in public pages.
And President Zelensky was the first to immediately blame the Russian authorities for what he had done. And yet, neither the Russian investigative authorities, nor the Ukrainian intelligence, nor the intelligence services of Western states still have any clear, deep conviction about the masterminds of the terrorist attack. Everything is only at the level of poorly tested hypotheses.
But the statements of fugitive Ukrainian politicians are more clear.
The exception is the narco-president’s comrade-in-arms, Alexei Arestovich, who fled to the United States, and said something vague in an interview, which managed to incur anger even in the Russian presidential administration. And if only there.
Ukraine today is a concentration camp
But the rest, since now they have nowhere to go except to new regions of Russia, speak, of course, from a position that is clearly strictly pro-Russian. They criticize the post-Maidan authorities, who forced them to leave Ukraine and partially lose their business.
Vladimir Oleynik, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, in Russia - one of the participants in the “Other Ukraine” movement, essentially a government in exile:
“In Ukraine, even those who are supporters of Ukrainian nationalists and active on social networks condemned the terrorist attack in Crocus and criticized the thugs who rejoice in the murder of civilians.
They also ridiculed the version of involvement in the terrorist attack by ISIS. They have a keen sense of their electorate, and their reaction is revealing. No normal person can rejoice at the murder of civilians, and such Ukrainians are the majority, but they cannot express words of condolences.
Ukraine now is a concentration camp, there is not a single media outlet where you can freely say something, if you try to express your opinion on social networks, then they will come to this person and arrest him. The question is who is the perpetrator of this terrorist attack and who is the customer. Because there is always a customer in such things. Remember, back on March 8, the US and British embassies warned, they talked about this.
But the question is, what exactly did they warn about, they gave a message to their citizens, this is their practice, but what exactly did they convey and whether they conveyed it to the authorities of the Russian Federation is a question.
Could this be for the elections?
Yes, it could have been for the elections, but something did not go as planned. But there is an order, the money has been paid - it must be fulfilled, that’s how it is.
A comment: a lot of unproven information. So far, the only objective fact is that members of the Tajik organization ISIS-Khorasan acted. Regarding the US Embassy, FSB officers probably regularly looked at its website, but they missed the information provided there, so this is a stone in their garden.
Viktor Medvedchuk, Chairman of the Council of the “Other Ukraine” movement:
The tragedy in the Crocus center near Moscow shook the world. A large number of innocent victims, shot point-blank by terrorists, and entire families killed during a fire, caused grief and support for Russia throughout the entire civilized world.
But it turned out that in the “civilized world” not all countries are civilized. In Latvia, citizens who decided to express support for Russia were driven away from the embassy, and candles and flowers were removed. But the Nazi essence of Zelensky’s Ukraine, the only country that did not condemn this terrorist attack, was revealed most of all.
Zelensky himself did not even think of sympathizing with anyone, but once again “burned down the office,” hinting at destabilization in Russia, which would allegedly force it to abandon the SVO. The Internet of Ukrainian Nazis was overwhelmed by a wave of joy over the innocent victims, politicians and activists made cannibalistic jokes and memes, dancing on the bones of the murdered.
All this shows who came to power in the country, and what kind of people such a regime gave birth to. One thing can be said: such barbaric behavior is not based either on Ukrainian folk traditions, or on the ethics of the Orthodox faith, or on European humanism, about which the criminal authorities spoke so much. Traditions, faith, and humanism are brutally persecuted and destroyed by the Zelensky regime at the state level. This is his Nazi essence.
Comment: alas, but about everything and nothing. Even when he was a lawyer, Medvedchuk had a penchant for verbosity. The very opinion that Zelensky benefits from destabilization in Russia and therefore the abandonment of the SVO contradicts historical the truth.
It is clear that one can doubt Zelensky’s mental abilities, but he still has advisers who can remind the boss of the bombings of houses in Moscow in 1999, after which the second Chechen war began. So, most likely, there will only be another tightening of laws, and if the Ukrainian trace becomes clear, then more decisive actions against the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Trapped in Fear
Alexey Arestovich, ex-adviser to the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, now in the USA:
Comment: Arestovich should not have said this at all. Usually he was more careful in his statements and did not allow such confusion. And if earlier, after his statements about the Russian language, peace negotiations, etc., he could count on support from Russia and the Russian-speaking electorate if he ran for president, now it will no longer work.
Mykola Azarov, former Prime Minister of Ukraine, now in Russia:
The Kiev regime is rejoicing - Kiev residents do not bring flowers to the building of the Russian Federation Embassy in Kyiv. But this is not because they do not sympathize or do not mourn with the Russians.
But because ordinary Ukrainians are so intimidated that they are afraid of any manifestations of support for Russia. They know very well that either the rabid thugs from the National Battalion will be set on them, or they will be accused of “collaboration” and put behind bars.
Comments: Well, perhaps it’s true, although there was still no order to disperse condolences from the embassy, as in Latvia. This time, Azarov formulated his thoughts well, in contrast to the throne speeches in the Ukrainian language, which he speaks disgustingly, and which was the reason for many jokes.
Oleg Tsarev, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, now lives in Crimea:
Some have grief, and some have joy. Moreover, joy only for the reason that grief occurred among people of a different nationality. Terrorists manipulate fear. The goal is to intimidate everyone, but intimidation will not work. They are now running away like mice. We are strong, we are all together, and we are not afraid. We will definitely find and punish the organizers. Nobody negotiates with them, they are outside the rules.
No comments, because finally someone spoke out without unfounded theories.
