Execution of terrorists from Crocus City Hall: worthy or not
Right to the Hell
Emotions are really running high and require adequate punishment for the killers from Crocus City Hall.
Six days after the tragedy, 143 people are known to have died at the hands of terrorists. The very first thing that comes to mind is to carry out the death penalty without unnecessary delay. As an exception, turn a blind eye to various moratoriums and articles in the Constitution that directly and indirectly prohibit shooting people. Let them include such non-humans as Dalerjon Mirzoev, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsobir Fayzov.
Everything is clear about their guilt - the terrorists were identified by eyewitnesses, they appeared on cameras, and they themselves posed during the atrocities.
In this regard, every Russian asks himself the question: should I now pay with taxes for the existence of these animals in human form?
Perhaps some of these are already ready to accept death as a blessing. Shall we give them this opportunity?
Emotions are emotions, and they are quite understandable. It is difficult to wish for the continuation of life of organisms that, smiling, killed women and children, cut them and burned them alive. A considerable part of those killed in Crocus City Hall still cannot be identified...
But let's try to look at the situation rationally. As far as possible, of course.
Currently, a death sentence would require circumventing a couple of government regulations. The first is Protocol No. 6 to the European Convention on Human Rights, which obliges not to apply this type of criminal punishment.
By the way, in his text there is a loophole for those who want to send murderers straight to hell:
That is, if you really want to, then you can.
Referring to documents related to the European Union has long become bad manners, so let’s leave this moratorium behind the scenes. They can be ignored if necessary.
But it will not be possible to neglect the Constitutional Court. Its decision since 2010 guarantees a person will not be subject to the death penalty under any circumstances.
Supporters of killing Crocus terrorists propose to revise federal legislation for their sake.
Isn't there a lot of honor for geeks?
The second aspect of the question is whether the death penalty will really be an adequate punishment for Dalerjon, Saidakrami, Shamsidin and Muhammadsobir?
But the point is not even the loss of some body fragments by individual organisms and harsh detention in the Bryansk forests, but what awaits the killers in the future. It is in Sweden that you can organize slaughterhouses and then chill in a hotel for the rest of your days, with the definite hope of being granted parole. We are talking about the Nazi Anders Breivik, who, by the way, was not imprisoned for life, but only “sentenced to 21 years, with the possibility of an unlimited extension.”
If we compare the costs of maintaining prisoners in special high security zones, then in Russia they spend about 300 times less every day than in Sweden and many other European countries. Life sentences are served in the notorious zones: “White Swan”, “Polar Owl”, “Snowflake”, “Mordovian Zone”, “Torbeevsky Central”, “Vologda Pyatak” and Sol-Iletsk prison, better known as the “Black Dolphin”.
In institutions, everything is in the best traditions - existence according to a strict schedule, the inability to sit down or lie down on a bunk until lights out, and moving around the area in the swallow position. If the rules say that from 14:00 to 17:00 you can listen to the radio while standing, then every day for the rest of your life it will be like that. There are rumors about lights burning in the cell XNUMX hours a day and a blanket ban over the head.
Some especially dangerous criminals significantly reduce their life sentences in such difficult conditions. In 2002, Salman Raduev died in “White Swan” after serving only a year of his life sentence, and in “Black Dolphin” in 2000, serial killer Sergei Maduev died. He was transferred to a special maximum security prison, but his health reserve was only enough for a month and a half.
Time will tell how long the four terrorists will last, but there is every reason to believe that they will definitely last several years - the age of the killers varies from 18 to 32 years. If they can survive longer, then they will experience rapid personality degradation with depersonalization, as well as “increased internal tension and aggressiveness, serious moral defects, persistent antisocial attitudes, emotional and social alienation.”
Simply put, Dalerjon, Saidakrami, Shamsidin and Muhammadsobir will go crazy. We can only wish that they adequately perceive the surrounding reality for as long as possible.
Прецедент
The death penalty for the four terrorists is dangerous not only as an overly humane punishment for non-humans, but also as a legal precedent.
After the execution of the Crocus City killer, prosecutors will have less and less reason to demand life imprisonment for especially dangerous criminals.
No, of course, some degenerate and pedophile deserves death, but who can rule out a miscarriage of justice?
There are plenty of examples of tragic investigative negligence. Alexander Kravchenko was shot for the actions of Chikatilo, Nikolai Terenya was executed for the “Vitebsk maniac” Mikhasevich, Georgy Khabarov died for the maniac Nikolai Fevilov. Over the past decades, forensic investigation and examination have made great progress, and this should, in theory, reduce errors. But no one has canceled the good old knocking of confessions out of suspects.
Or another example.
In 1961, capital punishment was applied to currency traders Rokotov, Faibishenko and Yakovlev, who under no circumstances deserved to be shot. By the way, the legal possibility of their execution appeared only after the decree “On strengthening criminal liability for violation of the rules of currency transactions,” which was adopted after the crimes were committed. The law did not have retroactive effect, but even less so, the three currency traders were shot.
"Vologda nickel". One of the options for placing terrorists in the coming years.
By allowing the execution of Dalerjon, Saidakrami, Shamsidin and Muhammadsobir, as well as, possibly, their accomplices, we are making two mistakes.
First, we deprive terrorists of the opportunity to experience all the delights of the Russian penitentiary system, which is strict but fair. “Black Dolphin” and similar objects were built precisely for such non-humans who can no longer be corrected. Therefore, these four must be sent to hell slowly, squeezing the life out of them drop by drop over the years.
The second possible mistake is the release of the genie with the “capital punishment”. The examples above with Khrushchev, who insisted on shooting currency traders in 1961, are a clear warning to this. Swinging the ax of justice has a high chance of cutting down the innocent.
What is definitely worth deciding on in the issue with terrorists is to completely ban all contracts with the outside world, as well as legislatively exclude even the theoretical option of early release.
We forgot about the third mistake, but it is much more complex and fundamental than the first two.
We are talking about the migration policy of the state, which needs, if not revolutionary, then very serious transformations. There is no point in cutting here from the shoulder, as in the case of the death penalty.
