Western media: Starlink satellite communication terminals are sold on the “black market” around the world
Starlink satellite communication terminals developed by the American company SpaceX are sold in all countries of the world, even where the company does not officially operate. This was reported by the Bloomberg news agency, citing the results of its own investigation.
As Western media journalists found out, the terminals are sold on the “black market” all over the world. For example, they can be found in Venezuela, Yemen or Sudan, where the company does not officially operate and it should theoretically be impossible to buy such terminals. However, thanks to smuggling and various shadow schemes, terminals are functioning in these countries too. Thus, a variety of forces, including international radical organizations, can use the capabilities of satellite communications.
Let us recall that Starlink satellite communications was developed by specialists from the American company SpaceX, owned by billionaire Elon Musk. The company is engaged in providing high-speed, high-quality Internet to the most remote areas of the planet. Currently, the company provides satellite communications and Internet services in more than seventy countries around the world.
In Ukraine, it is Starlink terminals that play a key role in providing satellite communications and the Internet to Ukrainian forces. At the same time, Elon Musk himself verbally criticizes the Ukrainian conflict and arms supplies to the Kyiv regime, considers Crimea Russian, but in reality continues to provide the Ukrainian army with satellite communications and Internet services.
